I don't really rest between sessions, but I have split them up so I do length one day and girth the next. The only day I take off is Sunday. I have made good gains over the past seven weeks like this. Almost 1/8" in EL and 2/16" in EG. Plus with my girth routine including clamping and horse squeezes, there is no way I could do these on consecutive days. My dick is done after doing these!
