The New Pope

Watching the people practically running over each other to get a look at the pope was shocking. There were tons of people outside watching him, just going crazy. I think its a insain that Catholics worship him so much. You would never see a Catholic show that much emotion in church. I know, I used to be one. Was brought up in a Catholic school and felt brainwashed once I reached about the age of 20.

Do any of you that caught it or saw it on the news find it disturbing? I know its nothing close, but I could feel the image of Hitler when he was overlooking the people.

Funny that you should mention Hitler.. the new Pope was in the 'Hitler youth', kind of like boyscouts for nazi kids. My father and his friends are calling him the Panzer Pope. Nothing against him or Catholocism or anything, I just thought it was an odd occurance. I also had dreams related to this for some reason, that I was told not to tell anyone in... <_< >_>. And when they released the names of possible successors 2 days or so after the last Pope died, I saw the current Pope's name listed and thought 'he's going to be the next,' and now he is. Lots of weird coinsodences happening lately. :s

2. Are you STD free?

You probably wouldn't be if you had sex with all of those women.

Iwant8...you don't think a man who receives unquestioned respect and loyalty from not only the "religiou" leaders of this world, but also received equal respect if not more so by the governmental leaders today???

This Pope may be a hard liner, but this will serve the ends of the RCC in the end. His reign will be short, and then there will be put into place a more liberal and "upwardly" mobile pope in his place. This is all part of the lst days apostate church, just watch for the signs....it's going to be interesting.

Yea I heard about that Hitler youth stuff, but even if he was evil or bad back in the day, I think anyone can change or be saved.

I agree with Millionman, it is going to be something to see. This pope is already talking about bringing all other religions together. There is already talk of one world currency. I was watching some news the other day and they were interveiwing a lady right before the pope had died. She said that she was there to pray for him and to him. This really sent warning bells ringing in my head. Sure I can see praying for a dying man but I cannot see praying to him. I pray only to Jesus Christ who I believe is the son of God. How many other people where there praying to the pope. Million, I'd love to hear what your beliefs are on what you think we're going to see.

about the hitler youth thing:
his whole class in school was forced into it when he was 14 years old...
during WW II he had to serve in the army, but at the end of WW II he deserted, so if they would have caught him he would have had to be killed immediately. not too brave as it were the last days of the regime, but still brave I'd say.

In 1933 through 1936, Adolf Hitler, (Not Adolph Hilter) came to power, every person under the age of 18, had no choice they had to be a member of the Hitler youth. This program was the training ground for the Nazi party, all who took part where forced to. Adolf Hitler, had a crazy idea that his 1000 year Reich was going to rule the world and the youths where being brain washed into believing that the German race was the greatest and most profound people in the world. The true German youth was a young blond man or women trained to spy and rule others of inferior people like Checks, Polish, Russians, and the Slovaks. The Jews, where classed as Vermin and treated like Rats. All of these poor people where persecuted killed like sheep, by the Aryan race. If Hitler had not been defeated in W.W.II, life as we know it today would not be the same. Freedom would not exits.

The New Pope being German and being part of the Hitler youth only knows this to well, I think that this gives him a broader scope and understanding of world problems that others do not know. Pope John Paul was also from the same era, and was also brought up in Poland and under the Nazi system. I think that his background made him such a success, as will this new pope.

While he was fairly outspoken on his views which happened to coincide with what Bush was pushing he won't dictate what Bush does. I don't think we'll see any out of control power hungry Popes for a long long time. His influence is unquestionable, but don't misconstrue what I wrote because there is a difference.

IWANT8....you have to understand that the Vatican for many centuries has sought to control everything...for lack of a better term....go back and do some research on the agreement made between Israel and the RCC back in 1991, and the continued discussions afterwards. It may not appear to be an outward power reach that one coupld point to and say ahhh there it is...but it is there. Why do you think there is so much secrecy surrounding the power structure of the RCC??? There is not a tremendous amount of information shared with the public about the processes gone through to elect the Pope, policy creation (which should come directly from scripture and it doea not) etc. They do what they want when they want, like take land from widows and forcing the children into monasteries or convents. Does that sound like s true "christian" organization.

You have to realize that there is so much more going on right now between the RCC and the EU that it would astound most of us. Within a week of the Pope's death the EU and the RCC had a website up to illustrate the unity and forwardness of their "new" relationship, but in all reality they have been working together to suBathmateit all under their authority for a while now, and if the EU's new constitution goes through then one man will have the authority over 25 different nations.....Isn't that a bit odd...that one man would be granted such authority in our day and age....it may not happen, but as these things come in his way he seems to move right over them with very little trouble...Just watch for the signs....don't pay attention to the news that's being reported on TV, but look to the EU's own website to get the stories you won't see on the news....that's where most of my info comes from anyway....
