The loss of the Pope has caused lots of people to re-think religion. He was the most traveled Pope in history, cumming from Krachow in poland and living through the Nazi occupation to become an Athelet, a Poet, and the Pope made John Paul one of the better Popes in History. What are your thought on his successor.

im not into religion at all but i think he was good for those who follow him from what ive seen of him. if i had a child i wouldnt mind him blessing her or him besides us polaks rule lol

I had alot of respect for him, although I do not agree with many of catholic theology and doctrines in a christian sense I admire his constitution and fortitude to stand up for his faiths standards and not bend or give to popular changes and acceptances in todays changing morals and society where everything is now to be accepted or else someone screams discrimination. As for a successor the 2 top runners, one is Italian which was the case for over 400 years until John Paul got in and one African but I wonder if they would consider Billy Graham?? Pobably not I don't think he knows latin.

I'm betting that the next pope will be from South America. More Catholics reside there than anywhere else. Time's up.

I think that the new pope will come from the African continent, Or he be from Brazil. The list is long and the guy who steps in John Pauls shoes will have a great deal to prove. As Red say's may he rest in piece.

Good guy, didnt agree with him on everything, but good guy. Only problem I have with the whole situation (not him just the situation) is how Catholics deify him, much like they do Mary, which I also think is wrong.

Anyhow, RIP and I am curious to see the successor.
