I know that Superman could wipe the floor with hulk, but I love hulk, he can run 300mph and jump 3-4 miles and lift 100 tons and has 14 tons of punching power per square inch.
Superman can do all of this times 1,000,000, he rocks! There is really no limit to his strengh exept for kyrptonite.

Silver Surfer is one tough hombre. I believe he is the toughest of all the Marvel fellows. In one of my earliest issues, he beat the Hell out of Thor, a God. Superman has nothing on him because there is no "Kryptonite" to take him out. Here is a list of his powers from the link I posted above:

silver sufer's weakness is that the source of his powers is that giant planet eating dude (cant remember his name), one time all the survivors of the planet he ate, created a planet of pure darkness and disease which his new servant (some girl from earth who used to go out with torch) was dumb enough to feed him. This resulted in him almost dying and thus draining almost all of SS's powers.
Also as he is a Marvel character he suffers from tghe some thing that every other marvel character does, a screwed up mind or some thing caused from emotions. every one had one:
Spiderman - fucked up love life (falls in love with that rich chick who becomes the black cat and falls in love with a vampire, Falls in love with MJ marries her then she turn out to be a clone, to name a few), worried about his aunt who hates spiderman, etc.
Hulk - whole thing is fucked up, in love with the daughter of the man who wants to kill him, etc.
Mr Fantastic - being the smartest bloke on the earth and having super powers, have you ever seen his ego.
Mrs Fantastic - female character from the 60's with powers of invisability and force fields, makes you think that mr ego is a wife beater and she got those powers to hide and protect herself from him.
Torch - his a teenager who bursts into flames, that can only result into trouble when he loses his virginity just imagine, "ooh baby you make me so hot......aaaahhhh"
x-men - all have their stories
Even the villains had their inner demons.
And also even with the arguments, "love" is infact a big weakness when it comes to being a superhero, to quote the green goblin from the movie "you never know when some psycho will come along with the sadistic choice"

But my fave is Gambit, i was pissed off when he wasn't in the movies.

who do you think will win in a fight superman or goku. I'd put my money on goku because superman only has the strength of 100 men goku a billion superman can move faster than a speeding bullet, goku as fast as light. Even though goku isn't immortal he still could over power superman without even touching him with ease.
You cant compare the two. Both are my favorite. Superman is way stronger than 100 men. Hulk can lif 100 tons and Superman is stronger than him. Even 100 men could not lift 100 tons. One man per ton? No way. You cant compare the two. Goku is the strongest in the DBZ world and Superman is the Strongest in the DC world.
There is no way that Hulk could touch superman. He is first, not fast enough. Second Hulk's skin is not invincible it is only 8-10 times stronger than Kevlar, Superman’s is indestructible, superman could tear hulk in to and make it so her could not regenerate. Hulk would hit superman and it might knock him, that’s if he could even him, and then it would not even hurt Superman.
The reason why I like superheros so much is because I take something from each one of them that I find within myself. And what I wish that I had! They make me dream about things tha I could never do and make my childish imagination alive, that I never want to loose. I still wish to this day that I could be superman and soar through the sky, and be the worlds protector.

I havent paid much attention to superman or anyone really in years. I remember the whole "death of superman" and subsequent rebirths...was the superman who was pure energy the 'real' superman or what? If so, how did he get back into "human" form? SilverSurfer sounds cool. I've always liked Wolverine though. Did Wolverine get his adamantium back? How?
I dont know who my favorite would be though. I've personally always like the idea of being a vampire though. Plenty of people I'd love to suck the blood out of. LOL. Plus, being able to live for a few thousand years would appeal to me. Gawd the things you could live through and experience. Not only that, but compound interest ....damn...fuck Bill Gates...if you had a few thousand years to invest money...you'd be the richest fucker on the planet.

As for the Hulk, Banner & Jekyll were both scientists, and while Jekyll's experiments were intended to seperate the duality in all of us and Banner was working with gamma radiation, the resulting transformation in both of them mainly deals with the unleashing of repressed anger and fury. Both the Hulk and Mr. Hyde allow their base characters to act out uncivilized desires with little or no accountability. I guess the difference is that in the case of the Hulk, the behavior is unmotivated while with Hyde the behavior is definitely motivated, but they both represent the Id being released through science. Thats interesting in and of itself, when you consider that the traditonal goal of science is to make us more civilized, not less.
