Pump Questions

Hello guys, I would like to start a workout with the pump but I would have some doubts, also in relation to my priorities which are, first of all not to cause me any unusual mark \ stains \ that is created on the penis, and to be able to do it in a place that is not very comfortable, so not in the shower. In this regard, I would like to ask you these things:

1. In the choice of air or water pump, do you understand that I am bound to the air given the non -possibility of using it in the shower or in any case in a comfortable place? (or can you use bathmate without dirtying or wetting the environment too much?)

2. Also, I read that at the beginning you should not go beyond 5h, for example, therefore, how do I monitor and regulate the power used?

3. I did a month of Jelquing (100 x 3 days a week) before the summer and then I interrupted: before I start training with the Pump, do I have to first resume these exercises or anything else or can I start directly?

I would go for MityVac for wet and dry pumping. the Bathmate is great but with air not so much.

That is where you should start. The MityVac has a gauge to measure hg. There are modifications for the Bathmate that can show pressure

3. I did a month of Jelquing (100 x 3 days a week) before the summer and then I interrupted: before I start training with the Pump, do I have to first resume these exercises or anything else or can I start directly?
I would do the newbie routine until you get your pump. after you get pump you can switch to SRT

I'll add to DLD's info as well. If you don't want stain or discoloration due to blood components being deposited into your skin layers, don't over pump into high pressure. Remain between 5 and 7inHg only. Instead of 5 minutes pumping, simply use 3 minutes of pumping and use as much time as possible for slow squash jelqs and downward jelqs.

As for the 5inHg, you can go past it at first, if and only if your internal positive pressure at normal erection is at 4.5inHg. The best way to know where your erection internal pressure is to use warm water in the cylinder, get a full erection, and slowly pump up to 3.5inHg first and creep slowly upwards toward 4.5inHg. the moment you feel the a dull expansion being done on your penis, the current internal pressure you have is at or slightly below that pressure.

Agree 👍

Ok thanks. Others questions:

1. Can I start directly with light sessions or should I first do a period of exercises like Jelquin?

2. Is it necessary to make the Warmup and the Warmdown (5 min Rice SOCK) or can you start the pumping session directly?

3. With a length of 5.9 " and a EG at middle of the shaft is 4.44", but in the EG of the Glans is 4.92", what cylinder size should I take?
(What width should it be considered? shaft or glans?)

4. Are there precautions or considerations to be made if you have some curve?

5. Is the lubricant always necessary or can it be avoided using? In case, how should it be used?
(is the control lubricant okay or does it take a certain type?)

Yes, you can indeed. You can go straight to light pumping. However, the most optimal to do light to moderate stretches to warm up the tissues before pumping. Slow Squash Jelqs (SSJ) is during pumping.

2. Is it necessary to make the Warmup and the Warmdown (5 min Rice SOCK) or can you start the pumping session directly?
No, you don't have to if you use warm to semi-hot water. This is to help the tissues remain soft and malleable for expansion and elongation. Once again, it's about getting the tissues to soften up further for better pumping and elongation processes. It's like running your vehicle engine cold vs warm before driving off. It's about efficiency for the expansions and stretches.

3. With a length of 5.9 " and a EG at middle of the shaft is 4.44", but in the EG of the Glans is 4.92", what cylinder size should I take?

Get the cylinder that matches the largest portion of the penis, be the base, the middle, or the glans. Not sure if you still want to focus on the length or girth. For girth, and to maintain a large glans, get a cylinder that is 5in in circumference (1.6in diameter). I highly doubt you can find any cylinder in that odd size. 1.75in is the next step up, follows by 2in, and 2.25in.

4. Are there precautions or considerations to be made if you have some curve?
When you have a curve, but you want to straighten it up, get a cylinder with a 0.75in to 1in circumference larger than your current size. Rather than getting a 1.75in diameter cylinder, you may consider in getting a 2.25in and a 2.5in cyclinder. Don't go up too fast. Depending on the excessiveness of the curve, and if you want to correct it, you can get a 1.75in to try to correct the curve during puming, and a 2in to expand further once you pack the 1.75in diameter.

5. Is the lubricant always necessary or can it be avoided using? In case, how should it be used?

If you have a curve, it will rub on the cylinder wall. You have no choice but to use a lubricant. Brother SIM was the leading user on the pump with Vaseline. Some like to use jojoba oil, while other use coconut and olive oil. But if you use light oil, be sure to be very careful to prevent the oil/lubricant from getting into your pump. Most brothers use a liquid trap in between the pump and cylinder for this purpose. If you have a built in motorized pump at the top of the pump, it will be extremely difficult to prevent it from gumming up the pump system.

Ok thanks for the advice.

- How can I make the earnings permanent?

- Is just routine ok or should I add more?

- Also, I didn't quite understand the reference to Slow Squash Jelqs (SSJ)

Keep on working on the routines, but rather than 2 to 3 days before a break, slow down to 1 day of routine, follows by 2 days break to slow down for the next few months. Only do this when you gain at least 0.15in past your objective size.

- Is just routine ok or should I add more?
Slowly change up and add more. One more set to start, use the extra set for a couple of weeks to see the penis responses, and add more if needed. If you see negative responses, reduce.

Anyone who has used a Bathmate HydroMax able to answer a query.

Since the pump doesn't have a gauge, does anyone know how much would be roughly 5-7hg of pressure?

As in around maybe 60% of the maximum pump pressure in the Bathmate. I know its a hard on to judge but if any brothers have any idea that would be awesome.

And does any one know the estimated hg pressure when going full throttle in the Bathmate.

All Bathmate pump series use the same baffles gaiter to measure the pressure based on how much compression the baffles are at. Hydromax series reached around -13inHg using a manual pump, or if you pump by the baffles system, the highest is around -8inHg. Over time, components break down or just wear out, the pressure can range. This is why we suggest a MityVac or similar system.

If you pump and maxed out the compression, you'll feel around -8inhg.

Aroung 60% compression, you're -4.8inHg, give or take a -0.5inHg.

Full throttle or maxed out pressure should only be done when you are already conditioned for it. Otherwise, slowly increment the pressure according to your routine needs. Going to high too fast can injure your penis quite drastically.

Getting an air pump with a gauge is high up on my priority list for PE.

If I go too high in pressure in the Bathmate I get edema so I've been going at about 80% which feels pretty comfortable and I still get a good pump with little to no edema afterwards.

I've never used an Air pump so I'm hoping that accomodating that into a routine alongside the Bathmate will expedite girth gains.

If you get edema, evaluate how long you're under the pressure. If 5 minutes causes you to have edema, cut back to 3 minutes. Add the remaining 2 minutes to SSJ. If you have a healthy erection, you should add more time to SSJ over pumping. There's a reason why SSJ is in the routine and not excluded. It's practically married to pumping.

Don't exclude water pumping from your routines. Water pumping as much more benefits than air pumping alone. Veterans will select their favorite based on their needs. If I can select based on the benefits, I go with water. For less messiness, I go with air.

Thanks that was a good read, so much information.

I like water pumping as like you said the warm water can allow you to skip a warm up. And also it allows for the penile tissue to be more malleable.

Obviously like you said its all about preference so I will try the air pump to see how it feels for me but I would never swap it over the Bathmate, I would try and alternate both.

I have started using the cock ring after pumping but I only keep it on for around 20-25 mins max.

Doing the SSJ I struggle to get anywhere near 5 mins as I start to lose erection while compressing the penis together. Do you think wearing the cock ring would be beneficial in order to help maintain an erection long enough to finish the SSJ set?

Just like brother @kriskros discussed in his posts about the same thing under soft clamping, or sclamping, if you can do it safely without having that "crushed" or "frictional" feeling when you perform the SSJ, go for it.

For me, I can only sustain around 4, may be 5, minutes of erectile blood volume around 80%. Any longer, my lose all my blood volume.

Yes this is a perfect warm up. Even light stretching is a good warm up.

I am glad you have a pump this is a big piece of SRT. Using the 5x5x3 will help you grow as fast as possible.

You can go up to an hour wearing the cock ring. The longer you hold that blood the faster you will cement the girth. I would not go longer in the ring unless you do extra girth work during the day.

You can fore go the SSJ if it is not working for you. Try to do jelqing instead and let me know how that goes. Or you can SSJ until you lose your erection and then switch over to the Jelq.
