It is about time that we started to take responsibility for what is going on with our planet. We need to make serious changes in the way that we live our lives. For our families, friends, children, lovers, countries and anything that has ever meant anything to us.

This is not a joke and it cannot go on any longer. This is the way things are and we should stop deluding ourselves and become responsible members of the life on planet Earth. We need to make the changes in our lives and not point the finger and blame everyone else. It is our home and our choice to care for it or to abuse and neglect it.

Probably about how humans are destroying the planet at an alarming rate.. ill watch it later on when i have some time.. You guys hear what the Venezualin (terrible spelling i know) president said about the US and ol' G- Dubya? Funny stuff, and its about time someone said it.. Sure it pissed off some of the retards in the South that love America and 'freedom.' And hate 'evil doers.'

What I'll never understand is why the people who have the power to effect enormous change in our environmental policy (I'm talking about the U.S. now) refuse to face this problem squarely--as if somehow their own children and grandchildren will be immune from life-threatening diseases caused by poisoned air and water.

Environmental policy is tied very closely at the waist with economic policy and always will be. This means that we can change environmental behavior but it must be done at a pace that the economy will allow to avoid collapse or otherwise economic harm to a particular country.

Every change in energy policy greatly effects many aspects of our economic system (jobs). We are now in a global economy and are competing with the likes of China and India and other economically emerging countries.

This whole thing really is a big complex package and is just not as simple as many people make it sound. Fortunately we do have some very smart ecomomists in our world that understand this cause and effect. Don't believe me? Than do some research on the history of many failed economy systems of many countries in the world. The big picture is very important. It seems that every Tom, Dick and Harry as well as many of these ignorant celebrities speak out on simple small picture issues (very ignorant and therefore irresponsible as public figures) and they do not usually have the depth to even come close to understanding the big picture. They do have the emotion but acting on emotion alone with these issues will simply cause harm and failure to people of any country. Look at your economic history.
