Pinched nerve --> Pains in Penis

This isn't Penis Enlargement related, but last weekend I pinched a nerve in my lower back. Over the next few days I experienced slight knee pain until Wednesday, when it exploded. Since then the pain expanded all over my right leg, and also into the right side of my dick. At this point I pretty much freaked out and went to the ER where I was diagnosed. I was given Vicodin and a strong anti-inflammitory, which is supposed to kick in after 2-3 days of use.

Has anyone here experienced similar, and have any advice for treatment? I've read a few cases online of ongoing pain and permanent nerve damage. Needless to say, I'm a little worried.

Smart move going to the ER and getting diagnosed instead of doing like some guys would, and letting it linger/or just asking about it online...hoping an uneducated informant would know something more than they did.

I would say give the anti inflamatory time to act, then seek out a urologist if the pains in your penis persist. Then again, I'm no doctor or urologist, and we are talking about your life, and your most prized body part.
