For those into metal, if you got the new Megadeth CD, what did you think?
I like it as its got some of that old thrash style to it that reminds me of "So Far So Good So What". Its not as heavy as Ild wished for, but its a big step in bringing that style out again. The first song, is sometging that could pass for their earliest work. Lots of tight riffs and packed full of solos like only Dave Mustaine can come up with. Right now Im listening to Iced Earth as I type this. I only recenty discovered them. They are another band Im ranking right up there with Megadeth, Slayer, old Metallica, Iron Maiden and bands like that. Im trying to play some off the new Megadeth album and some Iced Earth on the ol guitar. What a feeling of power!!!
I give The System Has Failed 9 power chords out of 10.
I also give Iced Earth (what Ive heard so far) 10 flesh eating devil worms out of 10.
Take that Ebert and Rober...and Siskel too, where ever you are.
