New guys can't post??

DLD or any moderators some of the new guys that have signed up can't post on the forums they can only use the chat feature,can anything be done to get these new guys in the forums???

Yeah, a lot of new members have been expressing their frustrations in the chatbox for the past month.


There's also an issue with posting on the forums, this message appears:

"Warning: Only variables should be passed by reference in ..../newreply.php on line 389"

and then the forums treats it like you're trying to double post. The two may be connected.

Just sent this to the Tech. I did not think it was effecting posting, I thought it only made double posts. We will get on this immediately.

This is a glitch in the new vBulletin software that allot of other forums are having as well. vBulletin is working on a fix.

Is this tied to the 4.2.2 release?
