Understand your concern, Talcum (Baby) Powder is related to cervical cancer from a prolonged use in the genital (vulva) area. The talc travels up into the ovaries, gets trapped and causes inflammation and eventually creates cancer cells. Unless you're packing your urethra with baby powder you shouldn't have an issue...

I'm not sure why you use baby powder after using it. Sounds safe, if you're washing it thoroughly before every use.

Actually this is a smart move and one I will start using. I am thinking the baby powder would absorb the dampness and keep it from smelling. I will try this tonight and get back to you. I really hope it works because the smell can be pretty off-putting.

we need to find safer products though, now that it is mandatory to state that the ingredients can provoke cancer it's still worrisome for some.
