Losing wheight issues I have

Alright so I'm a big guy, 6" 3' 250lbs. However it's not entirely fat, Iput up around 225 on the bench (not amazing but decent), and my squats are decent enough at a 300lbs max. In the summer I worked with this cool guy I know, was an olympian. Worked out Mon, Wed, and Fri in the wheight room doing core lifts, (power cleans, squats, bench, deadlifts, ect.) and many extra complimentary lifts. On Tuesdays and Thursday I did light work outs, shoulders, arms, some small, not as intense, then moved on to the trainers guys thing. So in the end ran aobut 3 miles but each lap (1/4 mile) was split up, took a long time stretching, then did mabye 200 real push-ups and 300 abs (sit ups, doggy tails, leg lifts, alternating elbow to knee), then ran a mile, more abs and push-ups, then some stairs (running as well as jumping) and on other days mabye 20-25 100 yard sprints, jumping jacks, lunges w/ wheights, ect. In the end did roughly 1000 pushups, 2000 abs or something. Did that on tuesdays.
Thursdays we did plyometrics, box jumping, this thing where someone holds this big ass rubber band behind you and you run, jumping up while rubber bands hold you down, mountain climbers, jump rope, that kind of deal. As well as some push-ups and abs. Now I did all of this, and I dieted, no junk food or Soda, only drank water, ate higher protein, some veggies, mainly a balanced diet. Did this particular routing for 3 months and only lost 10 lbs. I got stronger and faster but I couldn't lose that little tire I have under my gut. Anyone help me?

I've had this problem... and I think that it might have something with bloating. I've read that eating a ton of fruits and vegetables in a day can remove excess water n waste from the body... working like a diuretic of sorts, but naturally. I've also supplemented with chlorophyll (look it up it''s good shit) and this helped immensely and my abs began to show through a lot better and the excess weight around my midsection. maybe you can give it a try. good luck

work outs only take you so far. this sounds like a diet problem. How much protein, fat, carbs and cals are you getting?

Yeah the last couple pounds around the midsection are always a problem. My advice is cut down on calories and up the aerobic and ab/oblique routine. Also, don't eat large meals. Concentrate on eating 6 small meals a day. This will keep your metabolism working all day. Eating large meals will cause the body to store some of the excess, and the midsection is the most common place since it is convenient and not used as heavily.

If you give me more info about your diet I can help you out with that. Avoid anything fried is something you should also do.
