jelqing question

hi, sometimes I have trouble getting a semi erection when jelqing leaving me unable to exercise at all. does this happen to anyone else and if so is there a solution?????

so the act of jelqing does not eventually get you semi erect? Sometimes I start out at it very soft, but you give a good 5 + minutes and I'm usually pretty good to go. I have found that if I do the V-jelq, I can go a little more quickly than with the OK-jelq, and that will get me harder, and then I can do the jelq's in proper form.
