Japan quakes

Terrible, my heart goes out to them. This year will prove to be Biblical.

they have more than 50 nuclear reactors..and amazingly they made all of them over the fault line. Now is that just a accident? or someone someone deliberately intends disaster?

The sun is reaching a very chaotic time in its orbit as it becomes more active, which is meant to have consequences on Earth with more natural disasters and freak weather. New Zealand in case anyone forgot had an earthquake last week as well. This is all just the start.

The geologic consequences of such a huge quake are pretty damn scary too: Earth's axis shifted, the day lengthened, who the hell knows what else.
Makes me wonder what comes next as the "Ring of Fire" decides to unzip itself.

Ever see a helo shake itself apart when it becomes unbalanced?

I gotta wonder just how much unbalancing good ol' Mother Earth can take before she decides to wiggle her ass and shakes us off?

Me too...I am very intuitive person and I feel on a deep level that something massive is happening and the telltale signs are that alot of our systems in our society are failing us -government,justice system, corrupt police ,education, medical system, our food system, our energy supplies.
I am a normally an optimistic person but the evidence around us cant be ignored.I hope we come thru this period a better people to each other ...that should be our number one priority anyway .

fucking idiots, those winds can send this crap to Europe!
I remember being young and Chernobyl happened so we had to stay indoors, even tho we were thousands of miles away from it!

That has go to be one of the most ignorant and self-absorbed statements I have heard in, literally, years.
WTF? You make it sound as though those poor bastards are destroying life and property purposely, just to inconvenience you.

The Japanese are good people. I hope it all ends positively soon. Perhaps they should just drown out the third reactor and not bother to keep messing with it. They have written off 2 haven't they? tricky thing is that they got so many and the backups aren't good from what I've heard. The US and Brits have sent teams in along with other nations to help trapped people and specialise in Nuclear problems.

I have been in many earthquakes with the biggest ones at 6.3 (Los Angeles) and 7.1 (San Francisco).

This quake in Japan was a 9.0 which is almost 100 times more powerful than the 7.1 - and it crippled the Bay area for a long time afterward. I can't imagine what the Japanese are having to deal with. I wish them well.

man..whoever the fuck decided to put those 50 reactors right on the fault line has to be a idiot.

Easy saying this now but knowing they were building on fault lines perhaps it would have been wiser to not use Nuclear power and be more like Britain with non-Nuclear powered plants. We have a very few amount of Nuclear ones in case something did go wrong. The Japanese now wouldn't be worrying about Nuclear waste.

What's kinda funny, in a morbid sort of way, is, the more you look into it, what we all call good old solid earth is anything but. Like one geologist/seismologist said recently, "It ain't a question of IF the big one is coming...but WHEN."

You are really acting like this is only their problem!
Winds can blow this to other countries!
And yes the Japanese Gov should shut down the core of the reactors but they chose not to so they are acting against their people and on a larger scale poisoning the environment!
Japanese people have no say in this and i was not trying to imply they have, it is always the GOV who is directing and trying to make the most of the economy...
How can you be blinded by their actions! Nuclear explosions are not regional problem but global!
In this case countries should have forced them to shut the cores down!
Get your mind straight buddy!

Fucking on point!

A reactor isn't going to explode, that's not what happens. You need unique circumstances to cause a blast. These don't exist in a nuclear power reactor. What can happen is a meltdown of the power rods which can then escape the container.

The media is making more out of this than they should for their own rating's sake. Shame on that lame bunch of ignorant, lying, self-serving douche-bags.

On another note, I've never understood why these things aren't buried 20 stories underground with several containment vessels.

Some of those videos are crazy tragic! When you see people being swept away like ants it is very humbling.

The entire nation straddles fault lines.
The entire nation.

yah..but east and south east coast r more dangerous than the other side. But of course you should never put a reactor where it can be a wee bit safer.

HA!
But for Japan it's been a crap-shoot. What's worse: 1) Earthquakes and tsunamis, or 2) China/N. Korea?

Now that we're getting all Revalation in all, before all these natural disasters and tragedies, I was believing our [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words] is the 7 headed beast in the last book of the Bible. But I never understood anything from those stories, so I never studied them. I really did use to think it was like metaphorical of what this forum is and now I realllly feel that way. Maybe it has jest been representing that to me though. Now that I write it and read it it sounds like nonsense, but if stories from that book are real who knows maybe those monsters and Anti-X is like the internet....or something.

If you want to help than pray or donate to the cause. I wouldn't say this is being made into a big deal either by the media, sure they hype everything up more than usual but if these reactors go funny it could be like another Chernobyl which is certainly not good! Japan in an ideal world would shut all these cursed reactors down and stick with alternative power sources but they have all the cards on the table from when they first built them and only nuclear so now sadly and with a heavy heart I type this, they will have to deal with the consequences which are DIRE.

We see Exodus and Revelations truly happening. Maybe 2012 date is a bit too far, I would say the change will happen in 2011.

Anyone believes in that Nibiru/Elenin approaching earth is causing the quakes? does that makes any sense?

I have no doubt that in reality the future will be vastly more surprising than anything I can imagine. Now my own suspicion is that the Universe is not only queerer than we suppose, but queerer than we can suppose.

nothing will happen, just some local disasters, we shall prevail and live miserably in years to come...do no worry, we will not see happiness ;)

Oh it's happening and if you are not an active member of [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words] you will not survive!:):):)

Have you read material by Zacharia Setcharin?

havent read it. but i keep on hearing abt it frm ppl.... also some keep on yelling abt HAARP stuff.not sure how true that is.

9,000 dead and 13,000 missing, is that a total of 22,000 people?? It really is the end of the world I mean the earth must have just crumbled underneath the land. Is it because we are sucking out all the oil and after year after year cars fueld by oil and gasoline pounding the earth slowly and eventually earth is just caving in?

Oil will bring the end of the modern world as we know it. We have very little choice, we need an alternative energy, this will bring peace to the world.

Took only 6 days for this road.

Thats good!

^^^
I'm sure that before n after pic is backwards... I heard 17,000 people are missing now. I was sure the number should be getting less, not growing. Look at that fucking road the earth split open like a canyon. Reminds me of the mountains falling apart in "The Land Before Time".
