Is using vaseline/petroleum jelly (I'm assuming they are the same) when jelqing safe? I read that vaseline can trap bacteria and is not good to use on the private area.

Quite frankly, I'm tired of using oil when jelqing as it makes a mess. I thought a little vaseline would work wonders, and it seems to, but I'm now a little concerned if its safe.

Any thoughts/experiences?

From what I hear, DLD has been using vaseline for jelqing since dinosaurs roamed the earth. Go for it man, stuffs great. Just gotta figure out a way to get it off once you're done. Usually an old tshirt youre not gonna wear is a great way to get it off your hands and penis.

I have used enough vaseline to fill the red sea! No problems ever with it, just be prepared to wash up after.

I've used it a couple times (a little bit every session) and have never felt the need to clean up afterwards. Do you need to or is it just because its uncomfortable to have that stuff on your unit afterwards? I figure a wipe with a couple tissue papers will do the job?

Also, I've done some dry jelqing and man, it takes time getting used to! lol

It gets pretty messy and if any is left behind it will stain your clothes. Look at teh "wash up" as a :warm down."

Tissue papers probably wont be the best thing, since your dick might be sensitive after a session. Like I said, old tshirt that you dont care about that preferably has no logo on it to scratch up your dick. And yeah, it might be a little uncomfortable, but its not like anything bad. It just would make a mess of whatever you're wearing if you put a decent amount on.

If you do not clean it up well enough you will end up with massive ingrown hairs. Take the extra time to clean, it should take no more than 5 minutes.
