Let's get some more people in there guys! I see a bunch of people browsing the various forums here, yet hardly anyone is in the chat room most of the time. Open up another browser window and pop in for a bit, even if it's just to say hi and leave.

I've peeped it a few times, but there's never anyone in there.

Perhaps if there was a specified "chat hour" then people would know when to pop in and there'd be more of a chance of chatting.

I think we would have more people if it was irc based. Many people already have irc and it would be easy to hook up those who don't. For some reason, I would idle in a chat room on irc but I wouldn't for this, I don't know why.

I try and go in each day but never find anyone there and even though I wait sometimes for quite a while...zilch. Did talk one night to JAZ but that was about 1 AM. Would like to meet some of you guys, say a time and see if we can get together. GS

I am working on a Hack to Display who is in the chatroom on the Forum Home Page. We will be changing the chat to an IRC based chate to implement this Hack.

This way when you come to [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]mos[/words] you will see who's in the chat room right away.

It should be ready soon.

I understand but the updates were giving us one step forward with 2 steps back. I want to always be sure this forum is running perfectly so I decided that until it is all good it wont go up. But rest assurre we are still working very hard on the new forum.

I'm not sure why, but the last couple of days I have not been able to go into the chat room. I usually pop in a couple of times a day to see if anybody's there.

Used to when I'd click on the chat forum it would pull up a screen with a smaller box for me to type in my user name, but now it just pulls up a blank screen. There's no place to go but 'back.'

This is a good tip. There are members asking questions in the chat room and not getting a answer. We could utilize the chat room more if we wanted to. I believe it's possible to create diffrent chat rooms as well?

No. I don't know how to access discord.
You scroll to the bottom of the page (main page) and enable chat room, the page reload. Then you press on the same area again, and you are in. Somewhat complicated.
