How can a few MG of PGE1 be divided up?

Say you have more PGE1 than you want to reconstiture for injection because most of it would degrade before being used. What is a good way to divide up the powder?

If alcohol would preserve the PGE1 I bet it could be used as a temporary dilutent... Mix in alcohol (not sure what type of alcohol), distribute to sterile vials, store in freezer... now when ready to use a bottle attach a vacuum source to the bottle until all alcohol is evaporated. Add BAC water and voila ready to inject?

Do some searches, there are plenty of studies around the web regarding storage. You are correct that the only way to divide the PGE1 up would be to reconstitute using something else. I'm not sure what that something else would be, though.

....OK, this is how I did it. Probablly not the best way, but I make it work.

Get a scale accurate to .001 gram, real cheap on ebay.

I mix My supply of pge1 with water base V (sildenafil mesylate) (you could also use something else) to make 100mg and weigh out enough to make the quantity that you want.

It's not safe to handle PGE-1, so I wouldn't suggest splitting it up with a scale.

It is not possible unless you have access to a sterile cleanroom...

It's a nice try but i don't think your method won't work... You have to keep the powder and/or the reconstituted solution in a sealed sterile environment. IF pge1 can be reconstituted using alcohol and you are able to divide it into several sealed vials, how will the alcohol evaporate?? If you open up the sealed vial to allow evaporation, then your PGE1 will no longer be sterile and injecting it would pose a great risk to your health.

How about freezing in bac water for long term storage? Instead of a couple months in the fridge for storage would it last for a few years? Adding solution to a few sterile vials and placing in a deep freeze so that it can be thawed in the fridge as needed would be easy.

It only lasts 3 weeks in the fridge before going bad after being reconstituted. I'm not sure about freezing, but I've heard not to do it. Do some internet searches, there have been plenty of medical studies on the best storage methods for PGE-1.

Lyophilized chemicals like PGE1 IGF-LR3 etc are all frozen before being freeze dried in a vacuum using sublimination. Wish I could accomplish this cheaply... But still has me wondering if freezing is enough to preserve the PGE1.

As for online info about preservation of PGE1 I can't find anything I can comprehend. I need the dummies version =P

The conclusion I came to is that investing in the better solutions for PGE-1 is going to be at least as expensive as reconstituting every 3 weeks, and much more complicated to set up.

Well I have some PGE1 but need a way to divide it up =< I have sterile vials but no idea what to do now!

Maybe I can remove the powder in dry form by sucking it into a syringe and weighing the bottle to see how much was removed. Would be a ballpark estimate on how much PGE1 is present in the syringe everytime I do this but I wont have to reconstitute all of the PGE1 vial this way... I can use sterile vials as an air source so the PGE1 vial does not suck moisture from the atmosphere into the bottle while sitting on the shelf waiting for its next use.

Will probably work as long as I take precautions to keep everything clean... like the water source (cant draw water from a bottle using a needle with powder in it and expect it to be "clean" the next time for instance). In fact there could be enough pge1 on the tip of that needle making contact with the water source to severly effect how much PGE1 goes into the destination bottle UNLESS the water bottle source is also the destination...

Materials needed...

.01 gram scale (.001 be better but dont have)
sterile vials
bac water
PGE1 vial
syringes

1) weigh PGE1 vial it will be weighed again after removal of some PGE1 to determine how much was removed. Could also weight the syringe I guess...

2) prepare the destination sterile vial that will be recieving the PGE1 powder by filling with some bac water

3) suck air into syringe from a sterile vial and dispose of that sterile vial when done. The syringe used should have a fair sized needle so that the powder can be sucked into the syringe easily.

4) plunge needle into PGE1 vial and remove some PGE1... be sure to leave a little "extra" air inside the PGE1 vial to prevent the creation of a vacuum (as little as humanly possible).

5) plungle needle into prepared sterile vial with water in it and draw water in and out of the syringe 3 times. This should remove most of the powder and put it into the water.

6 ) weigh the pge1 vial to see how much was removed... too much and your SOL too little and all you need to do is grab another syringe and begin back at step 3

other than being a "wild guess" about how much PGE1 is in the vial it worked beautifully... I mixed what I believe is about 1mg of PGE1 in 10ml of bac water. Can not even tell how much was actually mixed in the 10ml of bac water...

I did inject tho and based on what the scale said it could be anywhere from 5mcg to 15mcg but I am pretty sure its closer to 5-7mcg. Had a partial erection for about 10 minutes then I laid down on my bed and got an erection that lasted 2-1/2 hours. I got up to goto the bathroom and it went semi-erect. As soon as I laid back down on the bed it went back to being full erect... just over 3 hours now since it first went fully erect and I am trying to keep it down now that the 3 hour time is up.

I can tell the PGE1 is still in effect because I could not lay down without getting another erection in fact sitting here in my chair I am getting another full erection LOL... stairs and walking seem to have made it go down easy I may be doing that for awhile HAHA Still I know from reading on the boards it could be a couple more hours for the semi-erection to go away which is ok by me in fact the longer the better now that the blood has been refreshed IMO =) (within reasonable time limits anyway like say maybe 4-6 hours total time)

I have a dull ache the entire length of the shaft that can really be felt when I apply pressure and more persistant ache at the root where the PGE1 seems to work its magic at causing erections (can feel its "effect" at the root the entire time).
