The rapping from him, the kids chorus and the military drum beat.
It creates something special for me, I dunno what? just a special tune, the chorus and the drum beat are just SUPenis EnlargementRB. Eminem is a genius. I didnt used to like him, but with songs like this you cant help but appreciate the GURU at work. His lyrics make GREAT sense, the video is superb also. I'm listening to the song now as I type. A really unique special track, that will take pride of place on my PC.

I agree completely. Eminem is a lyrical genius who has a lot to tell.

Ths song has good lyrics, but honestly I think I'm the only person who actually hates this song, it's annoying, he's done so much better with other songs.(at least it has a good message in it, b/c it really bites)

You are obviously not a true fan. Encore is an album which portrays eminem at a stage in his life where he is 'growing up'. He is acting mature in the encore album. We see him in Marshall Mathers LP as being full of hatred as we do with Slim shady LP. I can see why some people would not like encore in comparison to his others as they do seem more commercial or poppy songs, but I think as the album title suggests 'Encore' is an album where he is drawing to a close, Be ready for a greatest hits album soon.

I really liked the song, "like toy soldiers", also. It strikes a chord with me somehow. I'm not a big Eminem fan either, though. He has a couple of outstanding tracks, and the rest just blur into a gray mass.

Eminem butcherd the orginal which was much better in my opinion. Everythin Eminem has done recently is garbage. After the MMathers LP it was downhill. But the original toy soldier is way better.

He's matured alright, from a boy into a man and it shows in his new songs.
Not about hatred and shiet, but things in the real world which WE can relate to in someway, I can relate in someways to this song....my job and the nasty shit that happens in it, when a freind gets injured..perhaps because of something I think I could have done to have stopped it. The song strikes a fine chord. Also the real toy soldiers, whom sung it? why is it better? more nasty and rapping in it than. Like I said, its the lyrics from eminem and than the drums with the child chorus whicj make this gel into a masterpiece.

Martika I Believe sung original and it was called Toy Soldiers, not Like Toy Soldiers. I just think it sounds better, more dramatic.
