Edema

Day.

Hey Guys,
I was circumcised 18 months ago, ever since I get edema underneath my glans when ever I do PE.
I have been vac hanging every morning and then extend all day, then mityvac 5x5x3 at 9hg followed by c ring for 1 hour.
I’ve recently started using a compression hanger instead of the vac and have noticed less edema however when I pump at night the next morning I still have the edema and it can make compression hanging difficult.
I’ve read somewhere that if someone has edema problems to avoid a c ring after pumping?

I would really really appreciate any advice on reducing this edema issue.
Thank you!

You got to love young and tender unsupported skin. Your penis is getting the hang of things (pun intended) after the chunk of sensitive skin removed. You have even younger scarred skin trying to support the subtle relaxed skin, causing it to balloon to catch up with the old skin.

Yes, you can indeed avoid the C-ring for now after the routines. However, you still need to stretch the skin through ballooning to allow more toughen skin to develop. A quagmire between needing the c-ring to get the balloon, and not using it to ease up on the adema. Compression sleeve, or just an old tight penis sleeve cutout or the TheraBand/flexible bandage, will do the trick if you're using the c-ring.

Thanks brother I was hoping I’d get a response from you as your advice is always so helpful, seriously.

I’m having a 2 week deload break at the moment but when I get back at it I think I’ll only wear the C ring for 1x 10 min set post 5x5x3, and see how I go from there.

Another quick question since I’ve switched to compression hanging I have a sensitive spot on the tip of my glans, it’s not painful and the skin looks healthy, I just noticed it a week ago and I got a bit concerned it was some sort of nerve damage.

I will be on the road dealing with road rage drivers soon, but let me know what damage you may think you encountered. Also, give me the estimated pressure load (weight load) you use for the hanging, and how tightly you wrap the penis between the base of the glans to the tip of the glans.

The most I compression hang was 6kg, I was vac hanging at 7.5kg but got a blister and switched to compression. It’s just a little bit more sensitive on the glans in one spot like when it rubs on my shorts, it’s strange when I touch it with my finger it’s a bit over sensitive kind of sore but if I continue to rub it it goes away, if I take a breaks and rub it again it’s sore again, if that made any sense. Hopefully in a couple days it’ll be back to normal,
I really think it’s nothing I’m just very cautious not to get injured and I’ve never compression hang before.
One more thing, do you think it’s safe to compression hang if I still have some edema from the pump session the night before?

Thank you thank you thank you, really appreciate your wise advice.

Yes. It makes quite a bit of sense. What happened under the wrap, based on the size and wrap type, your glans was slightly inflated, half to 3/4 of its erected size. When the wrapping got tighten from the hanging weight, it acted like a constriction noose around the glans, increasing the pressure further. It probably pushed past 12inHg based on the constriction and weight loading. When you use the vacuum cup, you can adjust accordingly the pressure you need by rotational count. Half rotation is around 3inHg, hanging 7.5kg doubled the pressure to 6, max at 7inHg.

If you constricted the blood vessels and nerve branch under the high pressure, you may not get the edemas because of the tight wrap, but that much pressure over expanded the glans. What you're feeling is micro fissures cracks all over the fascias, the skin layers, all the way past the nerve endings. Ease up on the hanging or intense PE for a few more days. 72 hours is the common norm for cells to regenerate, and may take up to 96 hours to fully heal. That is the average for micro traumas. Not sure how much of a trauma happened under that wrap.

Edema is topical, unless you have severe edema that goes deep. That normally indicates by blood or deep blistering colors.

To be safe, lighter compression hanging will reduce the edema. Know your current baselines for hanging. What is considered as low and normal. What is considered as moderate that will cause you to feel that initial tug. What is the one level higher, commonly by 0.25kg to 0.5kg that pull harder on the entire penis without the pain, while having that dull achy pulling sensation. Establish your baselines every two weeks for hanging.

Thank you thank you thank you, really appreciate your wise advice.

thank you, I’ll definitely give it a good amount of time off.

I would not break over two weeks unless there is a major injury.

I was told to take a 2 weeks deload break every 8 weeks from hanging, I think the theory is the break makes less weight more effective, I respect your opinion thought, your the goat of pe.
I don’t like taking a break either, I miss my routine lol.
Cheers

Do you have any advice on an effective hanging routine, as in ideal time hanging and max weight?
I’ve been hanging for a bout a year for 1.5 hours a day, everyday, started with low weight and have moved up to 7.5kg, don’t think I can handle anymore weight.
I then extend all day and do 5x5x3 at night.
Thanks mate! I’d really appreciate your input. 😊

Now I understand this is a good practice.

Total hanging time doesn't take more than 40 minutes. 60 minutes top, but it needs to be a constant dynamic of weight exchange.

Start with 1/4 weight load of your highest weight to get the tissues to work with gravitational pull for 5 minutes, follows by max weight for 10 minutes, then reduce to half weight for 5 minutes, then max weight for 5. Keep alternating every 5 minutes to prevent static trauma for 60 minutes.

Make sure to warm down using warm compress.

For extender, do not over stress the tissues after hanging. If you hang before extender, use only 1kg of tracion force. If you use the extender before the hang, only use up to 1.2kg.

Have you seen significant gains with your routine? I have a similar routine I started about a month ago.

Yeh I’ve made ok gains. Im a hard gainer when it comes to girth, I’ve tried everything and not gained much if anything but with Dlds 5x5x3 I have gained some girth finally. It’s a marathon not a sprint so gains come in slow no matter the program and dedication (unless your brand new and gaining newbie quick gains) with time the gains add up, that’s just my opinion anyway.
