Shaving every day is the key to less discomfort when shaving with a razor. I use hair
conditioner, instead of shaving cream.
I learned that from doublelongdaddy (@DLD). A priceless lesson.
I soften up the area beforehand with warm water in the shower. It's important to have clean and sharp blades on your
Cartridge Razor. I also use a razor that's intended for ladies (It's called: Venus), I find them better to follow the skin without cuts.
If you first clean the blades after usage with high pressure water and then, if you spray the blade/blades with
Isopropanol (you find it in electronic stores) after usage, the blades will last longer. They are not exactly cheap blades.
I shave my "fat pad", and my shaft. The hairs around my scrotum and inner thighs I leave behind, because they help me to reduce the friction when I walk and run.
I shave for 3 reasons, every day
The
first reason is to be able to stretch with the
LENGTHMASTER 3, without the stubbels acting like sand paper on my skin.
The
second reason is due to get rid of the hairs on my shaft, because when you are gaining length, you will have really thick hairs creeping up on your shaft (growing out of your shaft really high up).
The
third reason is so the skin will be adjusted to be shaved every day. If I let it grow for a couple of days, it will be uncomfortable to shave and it will be more irritation.
That's what I'm doing.
