Dark Circles Under Eyes

I have a question for all you's out there. I have dark circles under my eyes and am 19 years old, even if i get sleep they still are there. They might even be genetic but is there anyway to get rid of them or at least reduce there appearance without putting on makeup(dont feel like wearing makeup everyday). I have tried VITA-K SOLUTION which is supposed to clear them up completely from the vitamin K but i have used for 3 months and it doesnt work AT ALL. Is there anything that anyone has once used or has done to get rid of them. Thanks for your help.

well I heard preperation H workds, but i don't fancy putting ass cream on my face. I have dark circles myself, but aren't too visible, and if I've been getting plenty of sleep are barely there, I might look into it though

Umm lets see, I've had the same problem...fixed it though, I used to sleep with two pillows under my head, now I only sleep with one...it worked for me! weird enough but it did..you can also try putting an icepack or cold washcloth over your eyes for 10-15minutes a day.

I have been using some cream by

Dr.Brandt - lineless™ eye cream
anti-wrinkle, anti-oxidant and anti-dark circles formulation. rich in soothing and firming vitamins, botanicals and green tea. this cream promotes a younger looking eye contour free of dark shadows. using ring finger, apply in counter-clockwise motions from the outside corner of the eye inward. use AM and PM.
estimated usage rate: used twice daily, 3-4 months

Its not cheap but I got a some on Ebay for 1/2 the price. It works good for me so far. I have done the preperation H routine too but it tends to burn. I only use that if I have super baggy eyes. Cold compresses also helps.

I've been reading stuff on the net over the last week, and most people find a good eye gel effective.
As described above a good cream or gel with antioxidants in is supposed to work.
I never believed in these creams and stuff, but apparently over the last couple of years there have been advancements.

A lot of people swear by these gels and creams that topically apply antioxidants.
I've seen a lot of people use Vitamin C eye gels for eyes.
Halle Berry uses that, and other stuff, and she has fantastic skin. Her eyes don't look old at all. She must be in her 30's by now as well.

If you hunt around the net for reviews on good eye gels/creams, I'm sure that you'll find what you're looking for based on other people's reviews of the product.

I'd make sure you get 8 hours of sleep, and drink about 4 or 5 pints of water a day as well.

Hey i'm not an expert on this, but i'm pretty sure that if you get a tan they will barely be nitecable. But getting enough sleep and a proper diet. Also since everyone is talking about antioxidants-green tea is full of them, might try giving it a go. Surgery is a good option as long as you have a good surgeon(and those cost a hell lot), otherwise don't even try.Good luck, man.

Found a couple of sites again that I knew I saw over the last week.

This mentions almost everything mentioned above in this thread.

Lots of stuff here.
Near the bottom there are several different ways to try, most of which appear to yield quick results.
I knew I'd seen some guy mention the 2 ice cold tablespoons method, and it's mentioned here as well.

I'd be interested to know if the cold spoons work.

Oh the spoon thing. I forgot to put it in the above post.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

"The puffiness of the eyes can be reduced with a glass of ice water and
four stainless steel spoons."

“Chill the spoons in the water and then place one over each eye. When
the spoons become warm, switch them with the others chilling in the
glass of water. Keep switching until you see improvement.”
