Ive been taking Mega Creatine (Effervescent version with 5g of creatine) every time I lift for the past couple weeks. I just got a container of regular old creatine monohydrate in 5g doses to start taking tomorrow. I plan on re-loading, taking 4 5g doses a day for the first 5 days. After that I am going to just take I guess 5g a day, in the morning on non lifting days, and after working out on lifting days. (M-W-F)
Does it really matter all that much if I take my creatine say, mixed with a protein drink or anything? After I lift I like to down a big protein shake and I plan on putting the 5g of creatine in it, but some people say you need to take the creatine on an empty stomach etc. Any thoughts or help would be great.
Any of you guys that take creatine with your lifting too, I welcome your supplemental plan to help me along
