My Brothers, just wanted to apologize for my absence over the last 3 weeks. I have been very ill and have not been able to get around to well. In bed most of the time and I have lost my appetite. I went to the doctors yesterday and they said I was clear of flu and pneumonia. If it continues they will need to do additional testing. I have a major issue with my prostate so that is also an issue. I am doing the best I can right now and I hope to bet better and better soon. I know many have been praying for me and I can feel it as I was able to eat for 2 days now! I lost a lot of weight so this is good news. Please continue your prayers and know that I love each of you very much.

Much strength to you DLD! Such a bummer that this illness is during the Christmas time. (Or whatever people call it nowadays in the PC days of ours ...)

There are many good supplements for prostate health, I recall saw palmetto could be helpful. Pumpkin seeds should also be beneficial. Ejaculating on a regular basis also flushes the prostate. And BSA's tip about the tennis ball as a massage device could also be something to consider!

I hope you'll be able to eat well soon enough, hydration is very important as well.
Very speedy recovery to you, concentrate on the resting and healing!
 
Sorry to hear what you are going through DLD. I know what you are going through as I had been very ill in years back. I had been sleeping most of the time as I couldn't be able to get up. The headache was bad and I had bad chest infections. I couldn't fight it off due to strong flu so I had to go to hospital to get anti-biotic to get it fight it off so few weeks later I got recovered. I hope you feel better soon my brothers. I am praying for you and wish you a speedy recovery.
 
No reason to apologize, just focus on getting better! You've navigated us far away from any danger, so all we have to do is keep 'rowing'...we've got your back, bro!
 
Hope you get to feeling better soon! I can identify, 3 surgeries in the last year have left me pretty depressed, hoping for a much better 2018! Take care DLD, you're in my prayers.

Wow, you guys have put some serious prayers out there and they worked! I should have asked earlier. Today I am all better (with the exception of my prostate) I LOVE you all for you undying support for the Brotherhood and it's members and now helping me. May God be with all of you in this Christmas season!

:) Thanks my Brother but still feeling sick. Not sure what else to do. Maybe see the doctor again and they can new tests. Never ever do I get sick and now it has been 5 weeks. It is not as bad today, mostly stomach cramps and shallow coughing, feel like I am going to throw up and have non stop visits to the toilet. Perhaps just the ending to the illness, I hope.

DLD TRY SOME Licorice root tea. It cleanses lungs. I remember reading about coQ 10 enzyme when I was searching for my grandfather and he had water in his lungs. Please check it out

Also I tried this medicine from blessed herbs called lung rejuvenator. It was magic for me when I had issues in my lungs. Check this out too

Silver has some potential, for sure. But remembering moderation is important, there have been few cases where people have taken too much of the good stuff and thus turning into smurfs. :D (Too much silver causing skin turning to blueish silver shade.)
I'm not trolling or trying to bring you down Randolpho, I'm a man of various non-big pharma solutions myself! And at least where I live (Scandinavia), there are few products in the pharmacies containing silver as an active ingredient. Mainly bandages and several other things, but some products anyway.

I'm partially keen on honey related products for the time being. I'm lucky there are few natural farmers nearby me, so getting decent honey is easy. I've also taken liking to bee pollen and bee pollen "bread" (perga) and propolis extract.
I had a wound and I applied honey on it; it actually sped up the whole healing process!

Licorice root is good as pogzee adviced, but monitor your blood pressure, licorice affects blood pressure.

I'm hoping that DLD doesn't have anything too bad and that the illness will sway away soon! Zinc and vitamin C (not vitamin Cialis this time ;-) ) also help in a speedy recovery, from what I've read and found quite true in my own experience.
 
our bodies are amazing mechanisms that have the ability to fend-off illness and heal itself (but it's nice to give it a fighting chance through 'Nature's Garden') Nice posts gentlemen
 
Thanks for all that, I will also try this. I am getting more worried and I put off the doctor, not sure if I am avoiding it subconsciously. I mean iy has been close to 7 weeks, can a flu, cold, etc. last this long?

I could see a week or so but 7 weeks seems a little long for the flu or a cold to hang around. I would go ahead and see that doctor and find out what is going on. We will keep you in our prayers

At this point it has become a stomach ache and a dry cough. Looked up online different things and I read that if you have a prolonged flu, as I did, the following cold could last for up to 8 weeks due to continued infections. I will give it another couple days and if it does not clear up I will go see the mad doctor. My energy is better today and I have been able to eat. I love you guys and so appreciate that you care so much! Do not worry, I will be here forever!

I am ok my Brothers! The doctor said it was a virus and she said I keep catching other virus's from where I spend my day. I donate my time to a garage in town, helping out with cars and customers. My entire life I have been extremely clean. I do not touch people and I am celibate. The only people I touch are family if they are healthy. Since I started donating my time to the garage I have been getting sick over and over. She said it is because now I am in contact with people, shaking hands, touching the phone, touching germs everywhere. She said to get some sanitary wipes and be very thorough in wiping everything down and cleaning my hands after everything I touch. It makes so much sense now, these dirty fuckers are keeping me ill! Time to destroy some germs.

I want to thank all of my Brothers for your prayers, they have worked! Your wishes have brought me to a better place, a place of confidence in my health. I was worried and I think most of you knew. Today, even though I am still suffering, I feel so much better. The power of prayer is amazing!

No, they are not too nice to me at all but I use that all to hone my humbleness. They are typical mechanics that are not doing so well so I help out where I can. I like it here because I get to talk to many customers and I have actually brought some of them to the Lord, which make me so happy. I also have struck some light friendships which is cool because I really have no friends. I am also able to learn about mechanics and I have rebuilt one Classic Range Rover since starting here and it came out so beautiful and that was a lot of fun. It was a tired, rust bucket and from the ground up I rebuilt it with one of the mechanics. So there are good parts to this but in general they are pretty ungrateful and rude. :)
