Just curious if anyone here has completely taken-apart their [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]BM[/words]? I'm not talking about the valve/pip, but the whole enchilada...internal spring mechanism, valve housing, etc. The reason I ask is the fact that the VacuVin stopper looks to be an exact fit for the opening (visually speaking) and this would eliminate the fiddly valve altogether. An ancillary benefit would be the ease at which you can clean the entire cylinder...all nooks and crannies.
I've tried using channel-locks and pulling the housing straight up, I've tried using a long, flat-tip screwdriver to try pressing it out through the top...no joy. There has to be a way to remove this, I just can't see any way without completely obliterating it by drilling it out and endangering the cylinder.
Any experience/ideas?
