Any Mechanics here? or guys who KNOW about cars?

I ask the question because on a few months time I could need help with some tuneing to my new car I'm getting. Its nothing too fancy but I could do with some help if I get stuck such as putting a back box on and getting one off etc and fitting a mod chip to the ECU etc.

98 civic coupe with a swapped engine got myself a JDM B16 for the japanese SiR i know a lil bit about cars and when you say black box in automotives you have to be specific some ppl call their ecu the black box and others are referring to audio hook up so let me kno what u got planned and what car u drive its tons of forums just like this one.... only theyre for cars not makin ur unit bigger lol

I lov cars but on't do my own work. I got a 96 Impala that fuckin kills all shit, and I mean it too. I first got it with the stock 260HP Lt1 now the bitch kickin all sorts of crazy [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]HP[/words]. Don't know how much cuz I haven't dynod it. I got it supercharged, cold air intake, headers.etc all sorts o shit I don't even know what they done. I like that a real sleeper. Boys pull up with they ricers thinkin they can smoke the boat but I leave em' with a taste of rubber. Cars are cool!

I did have a Fiat Coupe V20T which was a BEUTY in lime green and all kitted out at 350BHP!!! A fucking monster and did 0-60 in well under 5 seconds. Fiat Coupes are rare on Britains roads as they arent in production anymore and people seem to favour all the new looking shit.

I got rid of mine because it cost to much on tax and insurance plus in fuel. I dont know about you Americans and if you pay road tax and insurance but in the UK the more powerful the car the higher the insurance and in my case I was paying £3500 per-year on insurance for that car and over £300 every 6 months in road tax ... fuel was like £30-£40 P/W so even though it was a sexy mama those boy racer cars cost too much.

Going for a cheaper Coupe next that will be much less powerful while still being nippy and good looking but cheaper on tax + insurance etc.

I've had my boy racer days and now want to move on to something else. If anyone did want a fast cheap car and wasnt a new driver than a Fiat Coupe is the ONE ... get it in 20V or 16V Turbo version and not tuned. Even than its 220bhp and with a ECU chip which are cheap you are at 250bhp .. that is fucking powerful indeed.

I feel ya on the insurance thing man. The US got the worst muthafuckin rates there is. Especially if you got shit on your driving record like me. They got this stupid ass point system. For both my whips I'm tallying like almost a stack on month on that shit. It's ridiculous.
