Alternative to taping?

I have a vac pump and lately I've been getting tired of using tape. I use so much of it and it sucks taking it off. I use water, but I'd rather have something that's reusable. Are there any alternatives? Autoextender.com has an item in their store called a constriction sleeve, but I don't want to drop $10 on something that might end up not being effective. Any thoughts?
 
If it's from Autoextender it's likely a piece of crap or just doesn't work. The sleeve method can produce a similar situation if it isn't tight enough and/or if it balloons under vacuum. I don't use a pump very often, can you use a condom?
