Injury during manual stretching - please help

Hello everyone,

Please can I ask for some community advice and shared healing experience related to….

So I’ve got an internal dick injury, it’s early in my PE journey and I’m very confused about what it is and what to do about it. **I’d be grateful for your insight, particularly if you have healed from something like this.**

Also, hello! I never did post on the newbie board - and yeh, posting for the first time with an injury … the irony of my user name isn’t lost on me hahaaaaar. So….

SYMPTOMS
Summarising my issue in three bullet points:

- Yesterday after manual stretching I noticed something that looked like a loose piece of string under the skin of my shaft along the top of my dick.
- There’s a very thin stringy strand floating around, not connected to the glands,
- That connects to the base of my dick at the pelvis, where that string is all bunched up like tiny hard beads.

It gives me the impression of snapped nerve / sinew tissue.

Am I in pain? Nope, thankfully. If I squeeze the hard beady bit at the base, wow, ouch shooting sharp pain.

Can I get an erection? Yes, without pain. I woke up with morning wood and didn’t feel and difference but the symptoms are still there.

Is it swelling / tender in those areas? No, hopefully this means it’s not too severe…?

HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?
The injury happened during manual bundled stretching, on the fourth consecutive day of getting back into doing PE.

Day 1.
- 1x rep of bundled stretches.
- 8hrs in ADS
Day 2
- 2x rep of bundled stretches.
- 2x 10min in pump at pressure 3.
- 1hr in cock ring after pump. Created minor donut effect at base of cock which went away overnight.
- 8hrs in ADS
Day 3
- 2x rep of bundled stretches.
- 3x 10min in pump at pressure 5.
- 16hrs in ADS
Day 4 (yesterday)
- 1.5x rep of bundled stretch… injury during the second set.

Each day I did warm up of about 15mins in an infared heating wrap before the PE exercises.

During the bundled stretches on day 4 I felt minor pain under the helmet of my glands during these positions … straight up to the left, and the behind the cheeks.

It’s not like a felt a snap or anything. I just decided that it was a good idea to stop half way through the second set of stretches because of that pain. So I got myself hard to enter the vacuum chamber and boom, I noticed the symptoms.

Seems like *sigh* bundled stretches were to advanced for me, I’m pulling to hard, I’m overdoing it too many days in a row for a newbie. Feeling a lot of facepalm and self cringe atm.

SINCE THEN

I’m continuing to use the infared heating pad often as I can to encourage healing, and of course, reframing from any more PE.

I’m not sure what to do from here, what type of doctor to consult, if this type of injury “goes away” with time.

What you have described looks like a thrombosis vein. It's not a big problem and it should go away with 2 weeks.

It's mostly caused by ingrown hairs sometimes. Just make sure you shave you public hair completely.

Thanks for your reply - on closer examination it does have the appearance of a vein.

Hi brother, welcome to the active side of the posting and, of course, welcome to the brotherhood. Let's break things down a bit. Without a photo close-up on the issue, and of course, without a close examination, it's a bit of guesswork on our part.

SYMPTOMS
Summarising my issue in three bullet points:

The stringy stand floating on the penis, especially on top of the penis, can either be the dorsal vein or artery. Both plays critical roles on the next point.

- That connects to the base of my dick at the pelvis, where that string is all bunched up like tiny hard beads.

Both connect to the glans, or rather, all the way into the glans to the very tip. Now, when you indicated hard beads, that's a bad drainage issue caused along the micro valves of the veins. Think of the veins as a channel with tons of check dams. When the check damns are clogged, shocked, stressed, or damaged, they pond up the blood. This is the tiny hard beads you're feeling.


It gives me the impression of snapped nerve / sinew tissue.

Am I in pain? Nope, thankfully. If I squeeze the hard beady bit at the base, wow, ouch shooting sharp pain.

Multiple things here. No pain along the entire penile length, which is normal. The sinew sensation is the pressurized blood along the micro valves. You can say that you're having a thrombosis like brother @huge-girth indicated, and you can also claim that your lympathic drainage is also blocked. At this point, you're having a lymphedema (or blockage) issue. Is it severe? Not at the moment. Pushing it harder and it sure will turn into one.

In PE, the "No pain, no gain" mentality is out of the equation. Never take on this mantra. Pain is bad, or a very bad sign.

Yep. This is the symptom of the micro valves over-stressed. When you feel pain, always ease of and ease up. Pain is a sign your penis is telling you, "Hey, I reached my limit." It's not hard muscles that can tear and heal quickly. It's soft muscles that can tear, and take much longer to heal. You went a bit too hard on the pump and the penis wasn't preconditioned to handle the pressure. How hight was the pressure?

Things will return back to normal. Allow the penis to rest and heal. My suggestion is performing compression and promote drainage using light C-jelq with warm oil. Warm oils can be warm/hot coconut oil using a hot water bath (not microwave or the stove). You can combine with some NAISC ointment or cream to promote shallow tissues (fascias) inflammation along the top part of the penis and also boost the drainage. Only use the oil or the ointment one at a time, 3 hours apart. The oils will prevent the cream from absorption. Keep doing elongated massage along the penile shaft twice a day to promote drainage and keep us posted for the next few weeks, spacing out every three days. This includes the pain you feel near the base of your penis.

Thankfully I had a good sense to ease off after I felt pain a few times during the stretching session (should’ve eased off earlier TBH) and did not use the pump.

Hurting myself while stretching definitely gave me a new appreciation for conditioning and thinking through my PE routine more clearly. I didn’t think it was possible to hurt myself with manual stretching.

The forums here are genuinely awesome, and I learned a lot by just browsing through over the last few months. I also get the impression that there’s more structured / formalised PE guidance behind a pay wall. Is that right?

Because yeh, it would be good to have access to more structured info and be worth the money to to help me prevent further injury on this PE journey.

You won’t listen and stop,but remember, allow the penis to heal doesn’t always work,and your next warning may not happen .. I live daily with an majorly shrunken penis with almost no feeling. Ask yourself if you’re ok with that. I ain’t. But here’re I am almost 2 years later still trying to correct something that never will,and still very damaged.

training smart is wise. Be sure it is pain your feelings rather than soreness or fatigue. This plays a big role in if you need rest or not.

I injured myself once over a 22 year period and it scared the heck out of me. From that point forward I really became very aware of my body so it never happened again. I had to rest for 10 days and I never want to go through that again.

As brother @notmeanymore said, damages are not something you want to accidentally push yourself into a world of penis-ill function. Just like running, weight lifting, and even eating, you have inherent risks when there are injuries involved. Be very careful.

Errr..all the secretive info is not so secretive. They're wide open. We are here to provide you with all the info you need for a successful and safe journey. Ask questions as much as you want. The only thing different is a personal coach that will guide you versus you're reading and posting to ask questions on your own. Brother @huge-girth is our resident coach. @DLD and all the brothers here will offer all the info you need.

Nope. There is a pay wall: personal coaching that tracks you like a hawk or general tracking with all the info you can digest about PE. That's it.

This brotherhood is about getting you from point A to point B, either be a poorman's journey (which quite a few of us still are), budget friendly, which takes quite a bit of work, or open wallet because you have a bit of cash to spend. The tools you purchase are for your benefits and PE efficiency. Knowledge on how to use them to obtain the most efficient approach, that info is free.

I started following your advice this morning @oldandlively and had surprisingly positive results.

I noticed this morning that the vein I described in my symptoms was slightly less inflamed.

Just using the water based lube I had in the house, I did 50 or so gentle flaccid jells. Mostly I paid attention to the sensations rather than looking at it and it felt fine.

When I checked again visually, I was like wha woh wait a sec, the bunched up beads had gone! I said a prayer to the god of penis health in that moment 😂

So I’m left with the same vein in an inflamed state, but without the blockages.

I’ll continue doing the gentle jelqs as recommended, resting for 10 days.

Good to hear things are going well. The inflammation will subside very soon once the blockage is done. From here on out, start paying attention closely to the amount of traction tension force you're using, in addition to the pressure levels when you're pumping. As you are on resting phases that may exceed 1.5 weeks, it's best to ease back in and not rush back in.

Easing back in means just that, easy on the pressure and the traction force level. Give the penis a few days of adjustment, and slowly up the pressure and force one level at a time.

In the meanwhile as you recover, think carefully back on the few things that caused the injury, and start a log page here or personal log somewhere. If you need the template, we also have it.

Personal Routine and Progress log forum allows us to review what happened and assess things immediatelly to the best of our capacity. We'll give you advices that will be progressive based on the logs rather than trying to search the posts for small piecemeal info.
