So, thought I would post this for other less experienced hangers, like me.
I have made a couple of attempts at hanging over the years. Once for 6 weeks and again for 9 weeks.
Neither time produced any results and both of these attempts were well after my Newbie gains.
I did the standard, start at 5 pounds and slowly work up. The most weight I had gotten up to was 12.5 pounds and I averaged 7-10 hanging hours a week.
During that time I thought I had reached fatigue and did the recommended weight drop to complete the sets (rode the fatigue).
About a month ago, RedZulu helped me create a routine that was mostly hanging and LengthMaster. Started hanging and all was pretty standard, same as the previous experiences.... until last week when I added 1.5 pounds and reached 15 pounds.
Percentage-wise this wasn’t a very large jump in weight but everything seems different. My just shy of 5-3/4” girth has a totally different feel hanging 15 pounds.
No sharp pains at all, nothing even close to a sharp pain, but a dull pull on areas of my shaft that I don’t think have ever been pulled this way. I can also position the weight so the pull is kinda in between SD and BTC and oh my goodness, I swear I feel my innerds moving.
Back to the topic about fatigue. My last three days I did 6 sets, 5 sets, and 7 sets. The first two days I kept at the full 15 pounds but yesterday I had to drop weight for the 5, 6, and 7th sets (only dropped to 12.5 and then 10 pounds but wanted to drop to 5).
At the end of the session I have never felt my shaft so fatigued, and no sharp pains at all but a dull throb.
This was followed by 10 minutes of LengthMaster and then instead of the normal 10 min of BM, I did 15 min of medium jelqing (mostly because I wanted to see if I could get something that resembled an erection).
To my surprise I was able to get ~85% erect - kinda proud I got there.
Went to sleep a bit nervous about EQ... and woke up with an erection that almost ached do to the girth fealt huge. Hardness was not 100% but if measured, I swear my girth felt bigger.
Was able to do my morning set with the full 15 pounds and I have an afternoon encounter this afternoon to let the unit know why we are doing this, lol.
I am anxious for the next couple of weeks now that I am at a weight that actually stresses things and I am just surprised how different this feels compared to hanging at the lighter weights that didn’t pull at this level.
Just thought I would throw this out there as I have seen so many threads dealing with fatigue.
