In the UK we used call Baseball, rounders, we played with something similar to the sticks they use in the USA. For me there is only one game that sends goose pimples through my system, and that's Cricket. What a delight it is to England wipe the shit out of the Aussis or clean up against India.

Cardinals have a potent team, and they look to take the NL. Yankees will probably out endure the Sox (They still dont have the lineup or bullpen). Cardinals and Yanks would be a tough call. Unfortunately I pick the yankees as the logical winners of the post season (sigh). Secretly im rooting for the blue jays to go all the way.

Oh man you guys should have seen the party in Boston that night. It was INSANE!! You may have seen it on the news, but you have no idea what it was like for real.
But the cops had to come in and kill people. I understand them having to do their job and keep the peace, but they WAY overreacted. I nearly got arrested for doing exactly what the cops told me to do. They were way too quick to use force, and rubber bullets were especially unnecessary. I saw too many people get beat by police bats that night, and too much tear gas, and too many people getting shot by rubber bullets.
Hopefully the police will learn that it doesn't take death to calm a crowd. Maybe when the Sox win the Series (yes, that's when
) they'll be a bit more civil about it.
