Why do I keep getting banned?

Okay I'm not sure what's going on but just about everyday when I try to enter certain sections I get the prompt: "Your I.P. address has been banned by the adminisrator". Thus I'm not allowed to view that section. Tonight I was banned from the main forum even. After the third try I was given access. I've tried repeatedly to enter the Picture Proof section but to no avail, just keep getting the banned prompt. This has been going on for a couple months now and is getting rather annoying. When I try to email a mod about this I'm told: "Your email function has been banned by the administrator........ Icing on the cake. Can somebody out there help me out with this? ?

I can't do that DLD. As I said before I get the prompt: " Your e-mail function has been disabled by the administrator", or something to that effect. I don't know if my i.p. address has been flagged because somebody thinks I'm someone else or what. If you recall the whole reason I created the "nobody" username was because I could no longer log in as "mogli". Password reset you name it every step would stop me before I could even start. I'm not bringing this up to be all bitchy I'm just trying to demonstrate that there is a history of technical problems with this site in my regard.

click on LIGHTNING, a menu should appear, and then select "send a private message to LIGHTNING"

Unless you have a static ip you can change it.

Maybe your ip range is blocked on purpose or accident?

I tried that. It doesn't give me the option "send a private message". It does show "send an e-mail" but I've already said what happens when I try that. Is anyone else experiencing this? If so please speak up.

are u a member to the paysite? I would guess you are judging by ur problem......

if i log onto the paysite to do whatever and then come onto the forums, it says that my ip is blocked.

That's weird, I've always done that and never had a problem

Are you on Aol? If so, Aol has changing IPs and maybe you are getting an IP assigned to you that someone else here has been banned with. Try to find out if you have a Dynamic IP or Static IP wether your on Aol or not.

If that's the case, you can close your modem for while, and reopen it. Chances are you'll get a new ip. But if you have a static, that'd be great as lightning could unlock that ip specifically.

Okay I just back from work and it has been a long day. Still experiencing the same problems here. Yes I use aol (but not for much longer, dsl here I come). I guess I will have to contact them and see what kind of an ip I have. I can't send you a PM DLD, the system won't let me. Thanks to everyone who has tried to help me so far. I'll try closing the modem for a while and see if that helps. ?

Aol means dynamic IP.

No I'm not a member of the paysite though I have read about quite a few members having log in issues with it. I still can't access Picture Proof at all and even some threads here in the main forum. Dld or Lightning if you are reading this please help me out here. I bought a [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]Power Assist[/words] last year so you have my real name and address on file. I'm not gandolf or pokey or some other ass from the past and I've never started any shit here. You have my email too so please tell me what to do via this thread or send me a line.

I spoke too soon. I now find myself banned again. What the heck is going on? Like I mentioned already I use aol. I'm not pokey or gandolf. Whoever is in charge of Power Assists, my real name and address is on file. The system will NOT let me email or pm anybody. Please help.
