Before you go and buy one of these and take DLD away from the tons of other
projects he has going for us now, why not take a few minutes you would need to
find out how easy it would be to make one for yourself??? All the instructions are here.

They're being sold at a low price, which is good, but man oh man the hype in that sales pitch. But having been involved with marketing in the past, I can appreciate it.

I still have an originial I made. They do last quite a while!!!

They are easy to make. I will see if I can find some zinc and report back. A 2 inch piece of zinc and a 2 inch piece of copper tubeing and two three inch pieces of surgical tubeing and you are in business. GS

okay, I found the zinc rods and I can supply the material for making the ROP easy. If there are those of you who want the following, contact me with a PM and I will send you the stuff. Don't know what to charge but should be fairly reasonable. You need a 2 inch zinc round bar, a two inch copper tube and some surgical tubing to put it together for your correct length. I saw that the ones on ebay are going for $46. Whew, that is a bit steep. GS

They should pretty much last forever, though the tubing will need replaced and perhaps the metals polished now and then.
