Welcome to the Brotherhood, @CeasGrowsandGrows, I am @DLD. I encourage you to get involved and start making gains by reading through these two important threads, The Newbie Routine and the SRT Routine. The goal is to create a routine, If you need help in writing a routine let me know.

Once you decide upon a routine, start a Routine and Process Log stating all your beginning measurements, your goals, your routine and any other information. This is what we encourage new members to do.

How big are you now and how big do you wanna get? We’re here to help make it happen. If you need help with anything, just ask.

I've read the newbie routine and the SRT. As a newbie is it okay to start on either or?

Also I purchased the DVD. (Waiting for it to come in) is the plan on there what I should do vs these routines?

Nice to have you onboard! I'd start with the newbie routine. It's a solid thing to go for before advancing. And it's also a good routine to get back on if one has had a pause due to several reasons.

Keep it fun and enjoyable! Certain discomfort can and will likely occur, but that's part of the growing process. As long as there's so sharp pain or too much discomfort, you're golden. :)

SRT starts out the same as the newbie routine so either place you start you’re going to be starting with the same exercises. In SRT you will use this routine for a six weeks before you make a change. So theoretically you are using the newbie routine in the beginning and it will change as you progress in the SRT. The DVD is great to have as it will show you how to do many exercises. If you need any other help putting a routine together just let me know.
