Welcome to the Brotherhood, @amc22, I am @DLD. I encourage you to get involved and start making gains by reading through these two important threads, The Newbie Routine and the SRT Routine. The goal is to create a routine, If you need help in writing a routine let me know.

Once you decide upon a routine, start a Routine and Process Log stating all your beginning measurements, your goals, your routine and any other information. This is what we encourage new members to do.

Thank you DLD! I have been reading through some of the threads and im diggin' how helpful you and many of the members are. How long should I stick to the bathmate newbie routine do you think?

Do you want to spend 2 to 4 weeks using the newbie routine. This is to build a foundation for further work. In addition this will teach you the basics of PE and get your guy already and warmed up for some serious work. So after 2 to 4 weeks I highly recommend you jump into the SRT routine.

SRT is the newest and latest and most updated work out available. It focuses heavily on gaining and healing processes and it works with equipment and manual work combined to make the fastest possible gains . And even if you don’t have equipment you can still do SRT with alternative exercises. Now is a great time to start reading through it and studying it because it is sort of complex at first. But once you read it once or twice you will get it. Plus there’s many healing techniques mentioned in the SRT that will help you with a newbie routine.

Welcome amc22 - did you take starting measurements and create a progress log? I would highly recommend doing that so we can watch your progress and help you out as you get acclimated. The Newbie Routine is easy enough to jump into and get started on right away. There are many brothers here willing to help you along this journey. Good luck!

Hey guys I have done the newbie routine the last three days, just sticking with the stretching and jelqing for now. I'm having issues getting the suction right on my bathmate x30 lol, not to mention roommates might not appreciate me being in the bathroom for upwards of an hour. I'll see if I can get some measurements tonight, still need to read up on how to measure properly. I know fully erect I measure in at around 5.5-5.6 with my goal being 7.5

You don’t need to use your bathmate in the bathroom, just get a bucket with hot water and use it in your bedroom. When I use the bath meet this is exactly how I do it. I’m not sure what your privacy issues are but if you have your own room this is a very good option.

If you go to the members video site at www.mattersofsize.com/access you will find the section there on measuring and I will teach you all the different ways to measure and true record those measurements. I hope you had a chance to read through the SRT thread as this is a huge education in one dose. Keep us up-to-date on how you’re doing and will be here daily to check up on you.
 
I'm having issues getting the suction right on my bathmate x30
@amc22 I had problems with suction on my X30 recently as well(and I have had it for a couple years). What I realized was these three things:

1. I was not shaving my pubic area well enough - I use a Braun electric foil shaver to get it super smooth. I shave a nice patch above as well as my whole package.

2. Clean the removable portion(that presses against your skin) really well with soap RIGHT BEFORE you load it up with water. And clean your skin with soap too.

3. I am assuming you might use this in the shower. If so, I have found that filling the BM to the brim and making the transition and first "pump" as quick as possible, with a considerable amount of force against the skin. Ideally, almost all the water should exit the valve, not trickle out the bottom.

4. I use the Wine-Vac mod and a tiny silicone sleeve on the valve to make that second expansion pump (sucking any air/water out the top.)

Hope that helps and keep at it! @DLD has a good idea with the hot water bucket if commanding the bathroom for too long is an issue...
 
Yeah @DLD I read through some of the SRT and it sounds interesting, I have a lot of time on my hands right now and would be down to give it a shot. Is there a particular page on that thread I could go to that has the program laid out in its entirety? BTW good looking out on the Bathmate Bucket gains :)

I think the SRT is on the page one of the thread! The thread did go on for many pages, but the whole routine should be in the first post by DLD. @DLD can clarify if I'm incorrect.

@MCBLZ Surely gave good tips!
As you're starting though there's not yet need for Vine-Vac mod. ;)
The bucked idea mentioned is a decent workaround if the bathroom isn't so readily available or if it's shared.
Hopefully you can make a routine that makes it so that you can relax in the bathroom.
But several guys have found the bucket way even more relaxing as one could be doing it in front of the TV, computer or other means of entertaiment, not just the bathroom ceiling or walls. :D

Yes SRT has a lot of replies, ignore them all :D stick with the first post I made study that and then come back with any questions you may have. If you read all of SRT you’ll come out more confused than ever. Just concentrate on the first post.

I’m glad you like the bucket experience I call it the Kirby Puckit PE Bucket :D it does work a charm!
 
I often use the bathmate in the shower at the gym. Only in a private shower stall of course. Not trying to put on a show. ?
