I'll be using this thread to track my hanging progress monthly. I've been back into hanging for the last couple weeks now. I am using a BIB Starter production model hanger. I wrap with 3" wide "Ace Wrap". This is an elastic flesh colored wrap you would see in the sporting goods area of a large retail store. It is self adhesive so, it clings to itself. It's also pretty durable and, one piece usually lasts several sessions. Due to my current flaccid girth of around 5.25", I currently use a length of wrap approximately 15" long. I have found this to be the ideal amount for ME. It's different for everyone. Wrapping is just one of those learning curves that comes along with hanging. The "Ace Wrap" is the only wrapping material I use. I use no cloth underneath or over it. I think it's the best option for wrapping. Then again, I prefer K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) methods, dont you? The weights I use, I bought at Wal-Mart. They are in 2.5, 5, and, 10lb weight increments. A beginning hanger should buy at least one 2.5, 5, and, 10lb plate. These three plates alone, will allow you to hang at SEVEN different weight levels. 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, and, 17.5lbs. This should get you through your first few months of hanging. Notice I increase weight at 2.5lb increments. No, that's not too big of a jump in weight. I feel like if I cannot progress to the next weight level, I'm not ready to do so and, I should wait another week or as long as I need until I can make that next step. As far as when do I know when to progress? Well, when I no longer feel like I'm getting that stretched, worked out feeling after a days' session. For pictures of the type of weight plates I use, and for pictures of my hanger, see the "My Gear" thread in the Picture Proof forum. For those of you more familiar with the art of Hanging, you may be familiar with a man who goes by the name "BIB". He is basically the "Hanging Guru" at Thund3rs Pl@ce.com/forum. I am doing my best to duplicate his hanging schedule. He would hang on average 6 hours a day of total hang time. Yes, he works at home. I have also, begun working at home so, now I have the time to do this! Bib is a great guy and, without him the art of hanging would not have made the recent leaps forward that I feel it has. He first offered blue prints to make your own simple hanger out of readily had materials for less than $5. About a year or so ago...maybe a little longer ...he went 5 steps further and, introduced his own production made hanger. It's the best method I have seen to safely attach weights to your penis. That's just BIB though, always the one to go out of his way to help others. So, there's the intro for this thread. Now, in the next reply I will begin with posting my hanging routine.
