Vince Young entering the draft

I'm sure you guys have heard, but what do you all think about this?

PF, Quinn's Heisman chances just got a big bounce.

By the way, this is the 1000th time I've wasted some space in [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words].

Still Reggie Bush #1. Vince Young's stock will not go any higher if he stays. His throwing motion and passing concers NFL scouts have are soemthing that will not go away if he stays another year. All that could happen is he move back like Lienart did by coming back. Still say he will not go #1 and probably will be taken 3rd behing Leinart.

I'm not so sure the scouts are too concerned with his throwing motion after what he did this year on the whole. He was the most efficient passer in the country, and he was the leader on his team. All of his teammates speak very highly of him and he draws people in and this is an intangible that can not be taught. The Texans will probably still draft Bush because they have David Carr, but the Saints are looking to replace Aaron Brooks, and I'm not so sure that they won't draft him instead of Leinart because Young brings things that Leinart doesn't.

I haven't watched him enough to really feel qualified to access him. I can tell you that his running abilities will not have anywhere near the significance in the NFL. For starters, with the speed at the NFL level, he ain't gonna run for nearly as many yards no matter how hard he tries. Can he pass? Is his arm really accurate? Can he routinely make the third and fourth read when finding his receivers? That is what scouts are going to be looking at.
