Unable to delete inbox messages

My inbox is full and as a result of this, I'm not able to respond to messages I received. I'm also not able to delete them. Any solution?

Go to your profile,cllick on Send Private Message,now click on inbox theres a small emprty square there click and choose the messages you want to erase.Now scroll down and click the right bar that says selected messages...choose delete and it will delete the messages you have chosen...
 
You need to delete some messages. The first place to make room is on PM's you have sent. These can be deleted and make room. I will also see if LIGHTNING can increase your PM boxes.

And then be sure to delete the deleted messages :)
