Have anyone tried 20:4 diet?
You are fasting 20 hours, and then have an eating window of 4 hours. You can put the eating window at the evening, in that way you don't waste time during the productive hours of the day by eating.

Only PE, Work and other activities during the day, and in the evening/night I eat. It is supposed to be good for you. Also limit carbohydrate intake, and no bread. You will for sure become a "fat buring machine".

This is interesting:

I have friends that have done the fasting and it works for them. I just strictly limit carbs and I eat about five meals a day. High protein. I'll start adding back some carbs like quinoa after a few weeks. Wheat causes my reflux to be excruciating, so low carb is fairly easy for me.

I'm doing this right now (20:4), mostly meat and vegetables some potatoes. For some reason this is better for me...just focused during the day.

I just started doing press up yesterday and I intend adding other exercises to the mix as time goes on. I see no reason to go to the gym when I can exercise at home and also do this 20:4 stuff.

I will need to have at least one cheat day where I can eat anything I like. That day would be an off day from all activities including PE.

Body weight exercises gets you far. It's the only thing that matters. You don't want a bulky body, trust me I know.

The Lazer focus/hyperfocus with this diet is insane. I no longer get "crashes"/tiredness due to carbohydrate intake, and eating food during the day. I can just go and go until the evening when I eat. Need coffee of course.

I also feel more calm in my body. No more stress about getting food. I know I will get it when I get home.
They say 15% body weight fat is optimal for a male. This is my goal. But I think I need to eat less potatoes and reduce the fat in my food.

Air-fryers are supposed to be good for this. It's hard to prepare meat in a frying pan without some fat. Maybe I use the wrong kind of fat, but there is a lot of energy in fat. You need fat to be able to function properly, but it's a balance.

I agree that the body need some fat in our meals. It is not ideal to cut off fat completely from our meals. There should be a balance.

I feel good on this diet. No dairy and just a little bit of bread. I could drink 4 liters of milk before. I can once again wear my old belt.

But I think I need to add a second meal just to be able to get in all the nutrition I need. I need to increase my protein intake. This is not easy.

It's a strange thing this eating style. I feel less stress, I'm just cool and comfortable, even if I'm in a stressful environment, I had this before as well. But the calmness is at a completely different kind of level.

No need for fast sugar either, I have no craving to eat it. At work today someone had cake with them. I had no cravings at all for that, so I didn't take any. Maybe I'm going to the extreme level with this, but that 15% body fat level would be so nice to have. I think I would have a clearer mind as well.

If I would guess, I think I'm around ~20% BFM (Body Fat Mass) right now. I should messure myself with the InBody270 again.

What do you eat on this diet?
I have had pain and an uncomfortable feeling in my stomach now since last night. I think the reason is to much raw fibers from greens.

I ate raw peppers and I think this is the reason. If I eat meat potatoes and other tubers that have been cooked I do not get this problem.
I'm thinking, maybe this diet isn't thst good for my bacterial culture in my stomach? But most days I feel so good. More mental clarity and focus. My body feels lighter as well.

Spinach can also mess up my stomach.
ouch, ouch I hope this pain/uncomfortable feeling subsides in my stomach.

I wish I can be like the first guy in the pictures. If wishes were horses.

It's not really healthy to be at 8% body fat. They say 15% is the golden number. But that's hard as well. Most people out there (not all) take drugs to be able to get that low. Look at Instagram like 80% or like 95% of all the guys that post selfies on themselves with no shirt on, are enhanced by some drugs.

They will destroy their heart and circulatory system by anabolic steroids ...and other shit.

These days, many people don't want to put in the work to get result. They are all after short cuts. I will never rely on any drug to enhance my body. Not me.

Yes that is true. I see so many small young men out there lifting over 250 kilogram (551 ponds) like it was nothing. They are on something destructive for their body. And they do like 5 reps of that weight. That's insanity. We where not created to do that, not for long at least.

Indeed many people are after shortcuts.

This is one example of what I'm eating. The pills are just my supplements.
I have also experience that I save money, since I do not eat food that doesn't do anything good for me ("empty calories").

Be careful to eat to much spinach. I ate a whole bag of it, and my stomach was all messes up.

Maybe it will be difficult to adjust to that many fasting hours immediately if you are not used to it. But there should not be any danger in doing so.

I can adjust pretty well. All I need to do is not to stress myself or over work my body during the fasting hours.

I’m mainly counting calories

hoping to get to 12% body fat …. LOL
Reduce carbohydrates, and fuel your body on vegetables (greens), meat and fat and you will loose visceral body fat (fat inside your body). I do not count calories. Only drink water and coffee.

You don't need to count calories.

I'm starting to get more fat om my belly now, I believe it's because mentally I now want to lift heavy weights again.
But in a way it's good because it's getting colder outside now, I was so cold before (not me at all) now my body temperature is much better (feeling of not being cold). To have like 15% body fat is so hard to do, for me it feels like I'm running on low energy. But I do not like it either to have to much fat inside my body, that is not healthy at all. I should measure myself with, InBody270 before I make a to big change in my body composition.

But I will do my best to keep this diet in check. My goal now, is to get stronger on this diet. Before I drank Whey-80 (3 shakes per day) and milk (like 3 liters per day), I do not want to do this now, even when I know that milk are making me strong. But the risk of looking like a strongman is to great....but I do not think I have a choice. 😆
If you lift heavy weight you will start to look like a strongman.

But it's just that, it's so wonderful to be extremely flexible in your mid section. When you have thick abdominal obliques it's much harder to be flexible, but you will be strong like a Gorilla, and clothing will not fit you. A shirt of 3XL will even be to small, because the buttons will not hold themselves together.

LengthMaster 3.0, Eggs and meat are so amazing of keeping you strong. I think I ate 18 eggs on Sunday. That was to much.
I suppose I just wanted to share my experience on this diet. We call this the meat and egg diet, with a 20:4 component (fasting 20 hours and eating 4 hours). Oh man I'm sick and tired on this food, but I have to admit this diet are keeping me relatively lean and strong at the same time. I can have like 3 weeks rest from the gym, and In some strange way I'm still strong.
