Thrombosis vs Lymph

It seems to me i have a confusion. I see people talk about thrombosis a lot and some of them may just be talking about lymph vessel irritation. Thrombosis would have to be a vein so it would be dark if it clogged, no? I’ve never had this, when i get hardening it’s always normal colored so I’ve assumed this to be lymph not blood.

i have no medical training so I’m not asserting that I’m definitely right, it just seems to make sense.

I’m asking because I’ve been off training for a week because when i returned to training i escalated pumping too quick and now I’ve got some of those hardened but not discolored vessels. I can usually massage them out but they come back in a day (but smaller/softer, i am definitely improving not getting worse)

the weirdest part is that i seem to be gaining girth over this time. Part of me wants to continue girth work but this seems objectively stupid, so I’m gonna wait to heal.

Thrombosis manifests itself as a hard wire like vein and There is always pain present. Are you experiencing this? If so it is thrombosis and you can follow the healing protocol found in the boo-boo section of the forums
