I would not say impossible but I do believe it is difficult. I am so fucking particular that it will take me time to find a worthy mate. Now that I have my depression under control and I feel better I definitely think I am ready to find a girl to spend time with...finding her is the hard part. But I know, from my past, confidence is key, and if I am able to find the right girl I think I have the skills now to land it. We will have to see what the future has in store.

I completely understand and never categorize your beliefs as being stupid, they are built on your experience and in this you need to put your faith. I am also a very custom Catholic I base my beliefs on my own experiences and understandings. Along the way I do mess up and misinterpret but the Good Lord knows I try to stay on the straight path. We are human beings created by a glorious God and in this there are no mistakes, there is only perfection. Life is a test drive for the next world of everlasting life. Along this path we mature and better ourselves in great expectation of the coming of our Lord!

For me, it is better to be single and have a child outside wedlock. Serious relationships/marriage that requires you to live together with your partner is a big distraction. If you are the ambitious type with some life goals, that relationship or marriage will weaken your zeal to focus. You might be lacking time to do the things you love. As kids come in, you lose more time.
