The Pope is a hypocrite

I read in the papers that Tony Blair (British prime minister) met the pope and the pope had a go at him and criticised his administration for gay marriages, gay adoption, Iraq, easy access abortions. If Tony Blair had had some balls he would of told the pope to fuck off and reminded the pope of some of the shortcomings of his organisation such as turning a blind eye to paedophiles in their ranks, murder, torture, land theft and refusing to condone contraception causing an AIDS epidemic in Africa to name but a few. This is not a pop at roman catholics just my view of anybody who sets them self up as a middleman between us and god and condemns anyone else so hellfire and damnation. Alright he might be right on Iraq (only time will tell) but why does he insist on persecuting the gays after all they didn't have a choice in the matter and god made them that way. And has he ever been a pregnant teenage girl with no future. It's about time someone tells it to that Nazi cunt straight because his holiness is really about as holy as my arse after a vindaloo. Anyone care to comment on the matter.

Haha. I concur with this. The Pontiff had a meeting a while back with Bush, and basically reiterated the identical message. I personally think the Pope is a pompous jackass. I mean, how many people are starving in Africa, the world, while the Pope sits back and wallows in a shit load of dinero in the Vatican. And recently, this guy had the nerve to send the message against the use of condoms to Africa. Now keep in mind, that the HIV and AIDS is highly prevelant there. So, if people choose to listen to this guy, it would be like committing murder, having unprotected sex while KNOWING you are contagious with the HIV or AIDS. Millions of people will die because of some stupid, asinine, religious taboo. Way to go Benedict.

Glad I am not the only one who feels this way at the end of the day the roman catholic church was a creation of the roman empire because they needed one religion for the empire as a tool to control the people. Emperor Constantine I and his Council of Nicea (325AD) just picked and chose bits from the old pagan religion and the first christian religion mixed and meshed them together and then told everyone they are gospel. Until recently no one really questions this but I think that the fact that few people seem to go to church regularly seems to indicate that it no longer holds sway over us at least sub consciously. All religions are the opinions of men not the word of god and should be taken as such and questioned all the time.

i definetly agree with this, however you can't just say to the pop to fuck off. I don't like this pope much, i think he should be a pop in 16 or 17 century not now , he is to conservative

Definetly agree with this. There were hundreds of religions before and after Christ. The fact that there's so many religions out there tells me that none of them are right. After all, why would a "loving" God place the truth in just 1 sect, simeltaneously condemning all the others to hell for believing in something else. To me, that doesn't quite cut it.
