For Mac users there are some nice programs and an awesome hack I use. First, the best program for reading virtually any video file on a mac is a program called [words=http://TLCTugger.com/MOS]VLC[/words] (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html) It is somewhat stable and the updates will get better and better.
The hack is the nicest way to get video. You can capture video from ANY online source, ANY. YouTube, MySpace, adult entertainment Sites, even some streaming video! Here is what you do:
Start a video download or online play. While the video is playing click on option + apple + a and an activity menu will come up. The menu will have many files but most of them are very small (1k to 90k or there about) What you will want to do it find a large file, it is pretty obvious as it is usually in the megabytes. When you find the video file double click it. A blank widow will appear and your download manager will start downloading the raw video file (still unplayable). You will need to download the FLV player at: http://mac.eltima.com/freeflashplayer.html. Once you have the FLV player installed you will need to rename the extension on your video download(s). The extension may be many different things but you will rename it .flv and once you do this the FLV player will play it. Better yet, a .flv file can be played with quicktime! Very cool stuff. Also, you can start the download and close out of the window, the download will continue. You can also download as many files as you like at the same time.
