In order to lose weight (assuming you mean body-fat), you must be on a calorie deficit and weight lift (However...in order to gain muscle mass you must actually increase your intake of calories). Try to get most of your calories from proteins and complex carbs....as for supplements that aid in loosing weight...protien supplements will help build muscle, which in turn will help to burn fat. However, you would have to focus on one of the two first...if you want to loose fat weight, I suggest you get a skin fold test done to see how much fat your body is composed of.

I wouldn't suggest fat loss supplements only because diet is a lifestyle...trying to lose weight at one period in time would probably cause you to gain back even more down the road...just my 2 cents (plus I'm going to be a personal trainer soon so there may be some validity to my thought :) )
