I wore a new silisleve with my silistrechter today and within a couple hours it ripped. I have a longer silisleeve that has stood the test of hours and hours in the silistretcher to the point it is getting discolored. The new one was slightly shorter, but ripped within hours. I wanted to experiment with a new sleeve vs the one I have broken in as it has become slightly lose due to being used frequently. The outcome was that using this new sleeve gave me a nice tighter pull in the silistrechter without any issues where air gets in and loosens the grip, but the sleeve ripped.
1.) What should I do about the rip? It is beyond repair.
2.) Is it better to use the Duropro even for passive stretching in the silistretcher. I typically hang with the lengthmaster and a wrap, but use my silistretcher daily and want consistency with the nice type grip I feel with a new sleeve. The feeling is similar to having such a great grip that you can feel even the internal stretch when even just doing passive work.
3.) I want to build up a nice set of everyday use and backup sleeves for my silistretcher. Is it better to just use duropros from here on out?
