Its a shame... it's always the minority that spoil it for the majority... But from my perspective its just something they have elected to believe to support their own ignorance, especially if they use the word 'faggot' or then commit adultry or rob a jewlery store after condemning homosexuals. I've actually observed it, its the strangest thing. The guy ran some mini ministry to anyone who didn't fit totally into fundementalist christianity. Gays, mormons, jews, hindu, occultists, democrats, bahai, unitarians,atheists etc... The last I heard he gave that up because he had to leave town because he robbed a jewlery store for over $50,000. One thing that I find interesting is that the poll results show the majority of members are straight; however, only a few of these replies are from straight members. I also find all things sexual to be interesting, but I'm very conservative in my own sexual practices. As for myself, I am 100% straight as an adult. Never had any attraction to other males, unless I count the pre-puberty phase when I went to an all boys boarding school, which is just part of the growing up phase I think.

If I had to guesstimate though, I'd say 20% of men have the capacity for bisexual or homosexual behaviour.

I'd say half of the 20% are bisexual leaning toward the heterosexual side of the spectrum.

The other half are split between bisexuals which are attracted mostly to men, and men that are exclusively gay.

From the research that I have seen, very few men are exclusively gay....around 2 > 3% in fact.

It is annoying, on many levels. I'm not an activist, though. I think we're past that stage, and I don't think that kind of involvement will work on a large scale. There will always be pockets of people with sentimentalities from yesteryear - I came from one of them. Just as long as a whole, we all move forward, that's the best thing.

I've seen changes in the attitudes of people just while i've been alive, which is reassuring. I think it's important to educate at the youngest level - all this bullcrap about giving a kid a proper chance to be innocent means nothing - you don't have to start doing sex to understand the concepts. I think that is where we could have the greatest change in the future.
