rigid cockrings superior to stretchy?

I've gone through a few cockrings this last year, all of them have been from silicone, TPE,TPR-materials. This last time I ordered new ones I tried a rigid one (is that the correct word?) that you adjust at first and then it has no give.
This type of ring was way superior for me in every way. My eq gets to like 110% instead of 100% and my temporary expansion is greater. Even wearing the ring post girthsession feels way better, it doesnt cut off bloodflow at all like a stretchy ring does somewhat for me.

Has anyone else experienced this or is this just suitable for my wierd dick?

Ideally you want the more rigid ones. Noobs go for the stretchy type mainly for safety. That way they have more security when they don't know their limits too well, and can quickly remove it if shit gets froggy.
