Have you made any gains from using the SG or any other device before? I need to figure out why you didn't gain at all. Were you hanging and using the SG on the same day?
The only reason why I think reverse kegel is good is to balance the equation of over doing kegels. When you do kegels excessively, you will feel fatigue. To kill the fatigue, do a reverse kegel and the fatigue will disappear instantly.
