Pumping with a Hernia?

Has anyone had a lower abdominal or groin hernia and still penis pumped? Just wondering if this is dangerous in between me getting the hernia repaired?

There is nothing wrong with pumping while having a hernia. However, there's always exceptions to the rules. Why? A hernia generates higher inflammatory responses. Higher responses means higher chance of unforeseeable issues.

Just something to be aware of.

Thanks for your response! I love pumping it helps me pack the wife full. Just wanted to be sure it was still okay with a hernia.

Where is your hernia and how big is it? How long does it take to go away? Also what causes it to happen?

It was caused by me unloading 700 pounds of hay in the barn is the only thing I can think that would cause it by myself.

It’s located in my groin. Like to the left in my fat pad is the best way I know how to describe it. And it never really goes away.

Good grief man! I know the brothers in the countryside are strong, but that's one way to kill yourself fast. My wife's side of the family owns farmlands and do crazy things with their bodies from their daily routines, but hurling those hat bails around like that after this hernia formation will further cause the injury to manifest more easily. Do be careful.

Inguinal hernia can be reduced, and yes, it will not go away, even with surgery. It will increase over time since that area is now weakened. You can purchase compression shorts to pressurize that one side to help in reducing it, or at least preventing it from growing larger. A few patients I know are wearing them, and of course, still doing PE.

Wow there is no cure. I always thought surgery would correct this. What is the best way to avoid this. Are there ways to detect this before it gets bad?

Stop overloading your body capacity on heavy weights. It's like herniating your discs along your back. Once the disc pops out, it continues to pop out with ease if you stress it.

Just like every part of your body, you have to condition the body to tackle the tasks little by little. Just like PE. If your body is not conditioned to tackle the same weight over and over again, and you suddenly overstressed your body because you are under the weathers or your body is too tired, you get a nice present called a hernia.

That's a dual front questions. Depending if the hernia compresses other arteries and cause a lack of blood from entering the penis. It can compress on the veins and make the erection stronger, but if the hernia compresses other arteries, the blood volume will decrease, causing an erection to decrease.

Secondary is the compression on the nerves that can cause the pain. The dorsal nerve branches can be quite painful during a compression from an erection. That alone kills the EQ.

What do you offer for good advice to tackle this. I would think kegels are the answer, do you agree?

Any time there is a hernia, medication with time to heal, and compression to reduce the hernia. Medicatio can be as simple as over the counter non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen and naproxen pills and creams, OR, prescription drugs when things get a bit out of control. Time and resting is the next suggestion. To further push things along, compression fitting or underwear. Strange enough, there are many things on the market nowadays for this. 10 years ago, good luck in finding it. Look for hernia briefs and belts specifically for single sided, both sided, or even full briefs. My friend wore it due to bad herniation during heavy construction works and an accidental blunt impact from a forklift. He bent down and lifted something heavy after the impact, and voi la, a gift from nature.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve had it for more than 10 years and it’s never bothered me. It’s probably a touch smaller than a softball. I was just curious because in the last almost 2 years my EQ isn’t great at all. But I guess i have to be honest with myself and acknowledge it’s my 2 pack a day and 6 beers every single night. 😳

2 packs a day, and 6 beers every night!? Hm. Wonder how your aromatase enzyme level works in your system to keep everything balanced.
