Pumping with a Hernia?

Has anyone had a lower abdominal or groin hernia and still penis pumped? Just wondering if this is dangerous in between me getting the hernia repaired?

There is nothing wrong with pumping while having a hernia. However, there's always exceptions to the rules. Why? A hernia generates higher inflammatory responses. Higher responses means higher chance of unforeseeable issues.

Just something to be aware of.

Thanks for your response! I love pumping it helps me pack the wife full. Just wanted to be sure it was still okay with a hernia.

Where is your hernia and how big is it? How long does it take to go away? Also what causes it to happen?

It was caused by me unloading 700 pounds of hay in the barn is the only thing I can think that would cause it by myself.

It’s located in my groin. Like to the left in my fat pad is the best way I know how to describe it. And it never really goes away.

Good grief man! I know the brothers in the countryside are strong, but that's one way to kill yourself fast. My wife's side of the family owns farmlands and do crazy things with their bodies from their daily routines, but hurling those hat bails around like that after this hernia formation will further cause the injury to manifest more easily. Do be careful.

Inguinal hernia can be reduced, and yes, it will not go away, even with surgery. It will increase over time since that area is now weakened. You can purchase compression shorts to pressurize that one side to help in reducing it, or at least preventing it from growing larger. A few patients I know are wearing them, and of course, still doing PE.

Wow there is no cure. I always thought surgery would correct this. What is the best way to avoid this. Are there ways to detect this before it gets bad?

Stop overloading your body capacity on heavy weights. It's like herniating your discs along your back. Once the disc pops out, it continues to pop out with ease if you stress it.

Just like every part of your body, you have to condition the body to tackle the tasks little by little. Just like PE. If your body is not conditioned to tackle the same weight over and over again, and you suddenly overstressed your body because you are under the weathers or your body is too tired, you get a nice present called a hernia.
