Psychologist salaries

Well, I know this has nothing to do with Penis Enlargement, but I was curious and quite concerned actually. I want to be a psychologist, but from what I heard I hear they don't make a whole lot of money. Would any one happen to know how much a psychologist and I/O psychologist make? I'm just curious because I'm wondering if it would even be worth it thanks

Up here they can make up to $100/hr maybe more(I think it is them anyways). Same with some psychiatrists.

You pay them a large sum of money to get inside your head and do more damage than what you started with. This way you have to keep coming back.

im studying psychology at uni, and there is no single job for a psychologist, you can be a councelling psychologist, a clinical psychologist, a forensic psychologist, a sports psychologist, a child psychologist, philosophical psychologist, you could teach psychology. there are many many more

plus there's psychiatry which is different to psychology and that has just as many career options.

but if ya just want the biggest paying job, sports psychologist earn millions.

i hope that was a joke Kausion. i get a lot of crap about studying psychology "it's not a real science" and bs like that. so im touchy on the subject.

sports phycologist? that sounds perfect for me. haha. totally into sports, and im a good talker. plus the millions, thatd be chill. drop some more details about that shithead, thanks. like schooling, availability of positions and stuff for that job. just wondering about it.

i live in australia so our schooling system for psychologist is probably different to you (im guessing your in UK or US). but its usually about 4 years at uni with a course that's recognised by whatever your countries Psychology Society is. then you could become a doctor of psychology which involves getting your doctoret(sp).

as for availability it'd be also different wherever you are.

it usually involves things like motivation things, such as working with a tennis player to develop mind frames, and condition their behaviour etc. and it can also be with team sports where its all about the team work, relationship of the team etc.

i can't go into great detail because i havn't read up much about it coz its not what im personally lookin for.
