@DLD - Yeah the best way to go... If it's in the checked bag there shouldn't be any issues... Though I do wonder if they scan \ can see every last item you have in your bag when it's checked.

That's right, if they see the mityvac pump in my bag are they going to arrest me? I don't think so. I must travel with my pump and length master whenever the time comes.

By the way, a good way to sterilize the material, its placing them ( im not talking about metal devices, that creates plasma) inside the microwave 1-2 min max power. Dont worry they wont heat or even warm up a little. And all the bacterials get killed.

For me, I will not worry about traveling with my PE tools. At the airport, I will show them the stuff and I'm pretty sure there are guys there that would look up MOS forum online after their encounter with me at the airport.
