PC restarting every few hours, any clues?

Title says everything, so brothers, do we have computer experts here who can solve this issue without system reinstalation? I think it's not a hardware issue, but software...I need some advices, I've tried everything possible and still have same problem :(

That's not much information to go by, so here's some troubleshooting questions:
What's your OS?

What makes you think it's software and not hardware?
What have you tried to fix it?
Do the reboots occur randomly or when you're doing something specific?
Did the reboots start happening after a change in hardware or a software installation?

Good questions by Szy! To me it really sounds more like hardware related issue, could be that the CPU or something else overheats and that might cause the shutdown.
Faulty memory is one thing, there are programs to test the RAM in your computer.

Consider as well what you might have installed lately or if some updates haven't gone through correctly. (This is just guessing you're using Windows OS.)

Think of the questions by Szy, all the best to you!
And one thing to question, where's is your computer placed, maybe there is some dust inside that might cause bad airflow. Just one of the possibilities.
I remember silly IBM computers which had buggy motherboards and to get them to work again, you just had to remove the RAM and put it back again, a weird memory buildup.

I don't know, when writing on [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words], watching movies, playing games
My current OS is Windows 7

Try to listen if there are some clicking noises. A reboot without reason usually in my experience surely relates to hardware problems. Then of course I don't know if a malware program could cause action like this. Malware Bytes is a decent program I've used to seek Malware on a computer. Even Microsoft's own anti-virus program is better than nothing.

If there seems to be dust / computer is on the floor, a blowjob as in some canned air for the computer can help. Without more specifications, it's a guessing game, my own guess it's something with the hard drive or RAM.
Could be faulty motherboard, as in reading the CPU too hot and shutting down as in safety measure. Or something wrong with the BIOS ...

So, run your Windows update, give it time, some canned air perhaps. Hopefully you can find the solution.

I keep seeing this thread and I think that it's about the PC muscles and you want to learn how to do kegels:):):)

Good one DLD!

I've actually had a tick / myokymia very close to the PC muscle longer time ago. I should actually concentrate doing some kegels more, as I feel that my ejaculatory force isn't as good as it was.

But to Perestroyka, check the sounds as mentioned. Worst case is that your hard drive might be coming down and needs replacing. In that case a fresh OS installation takes place. It sucks, but in my experience W7 installation is a lot faster than XP.
Hoping that your situation isn't so and that an easy fix will clear the weird reboots.

You can also disable the automatic restart on BSOD to try and see what kind of error message you get (if there's still no BSOD and you still only get reboots after you do this, it's likely a hardware failure). Here's a guide: How To Disable the Automatic Restart on System Failure in Windows 7

Windows 7 comes with a memory diagnostic tool you can try in case it's a problem with RAM: Diagnosing memory problems on your computer

You can also try a repair install of Windows 7 instead of a full wipe: Repair Install - Windows 7 Help Forums

I did the first thing, disabled the restarting, thanks Szy it stopped!
