I’m genuinely sad and frustrated to see that my videos and photos — created here to help others learn — are now left wide open for bots and crawlers.
It’s a horrible feeling knowing that once this content is taken, it can be copied and reposted anywhere, even on sites I would never want to be associated with.
Even though my face was hidden, there’s still the real fear that someone I know could recognize me.

I shared this material because I believed it would stay here, where it had meaning and context.
Now I’m left questioning how anyone can feel safe posting anything new when the gates are this wide open.

Just so everyone understands why I raised this — if sensitive content isn’t protected by a proper robots.txt file and login requirement, search engines can and will index it. Once it’s cached, you can’t truly remove it.

This isn’t about paranoia — it’s about protecting members control over their own material. The safest setup is to block crawlers from private sections and keep valuable resources behind a user login.

I’ve said what I can. It’s in your hands now.

Sorry for not responding for a few days. I was on an overseas trip with really poor data connections. Okay, let's break things down in various areas.

As the title said, once it's out there, it's out there. Let's discussed.

We share things here trusting they’ll stay within the community — but once that gate is open, you can’t close it again.

What you post on the communities, be a secluded ones or the wide open public, it's only the matters of time before it's fully transparent. There's no stopping the miners, be the auto mining bots or human intervention. We have seen more than a fair share of AI-base accounts in the system after-the-facts. The so called "member" accounts were AIs that used as miners for info. Using any AI search engines, you can see active pings coming from those AI servers. If we have more resources to spend, we can even trace down specific user accounts that are AI-base that report back to the servers. Unless you have the foresight of a digital god, there's no way in stopping data leaks.

When we post something on the internet, there's always an inherent risk of info leaking to those who recognize us. I have already been acknowledged by many those around me, and I have no issues coming clean. When you're posting about your journey under anonymity, why are you so fearful? Unless you're one of the powerful and famous, is there really a bad thing that you've become well acknowledged for your hard work and efforts throughout the journey, contributing to the collective of knowledge out there? If you are truly that fearful of posting, you wouldn't be involving in any public-base community, be Facebook, X, Instagram, or even MoS. No matter how security the sites are, even bank institution, high security servers, and AI-laden monitoring networks are compromised. Your secured data are blasted all over the internet. And yes, once it's out there, it's out there.

We all share the materials, all hoping it remained hidden. It's only matter of time before the flood gate of data get broadcasted by a bot, AI, or members. It's not about how, but it's when. If we fear of our data being compromised, we wouldn't be posting anywhere at all. Give it a good reflection why you're doing this from the start. It's about helping others, regardless of the fears of possible leakage.
